Felix Jones will have a monster game this week (1 Viewer)

This must mean that Barber will have a monster game x 2. I believe they will run the ball till the game is out of reach and then pass to TO so he stops complaining.

i was thinking that if there were ever a week to have both MBIII & Felix in a starting lineup, this would be it. now, do i have the cajones to do it?

I am playing the Barber owner and I have Felix. It could be a boom or bust situation for me. I am starting to think he gets at least 12 carries.

I hope they don't throw a single pass T.O.'s way, and still win. Because then, if he really is the team-first player he pretends to be, he can't complain, since they won.BTW, Barber doesn't need to have a monster game X2 for Felix to have a monster game... they are not connected at all. That's not a knock on Barber, or meant as a hijack... just saying the way Barber performs has no bearing on Felix at all.

Some of you guys are reaching further than Manute Bol on this one.

Let's wait until the guy's touched the ball from scrimmage a dozen times a couple games in a row before we discuss penciling him into our starting lineups.

I have Barber and Felix and I'm thinking about sitting Lynch to start both. I might be crazy, but I don't want to miss out on any Dallas RB points. It could backfire, but might be worth the risk.

PEACE

Very true.

I knew this thread was coming as it seems like the logical progression after a bad week for the Cowboys when they passed too much and now are playing the Bengals at home. I'm really debating on whether to start Barber and Felix instead of Barber and MJD. Damn.

The Bengals D is bad, but not that bad. If Carson plays this game is going to be a lot closer than people think. They gave the Giants all they could handle 2 weeks ago. This team does have some pride and some players that only show up (Ocho Stinko) when the cameras are on. This week the cameras are on.

Barber is going to have a huge game, but to bench guys like Lynch for Jones is a reach.

As the owner of Lynch and Jones I have to agree. But Jones is starting ahead of S. Young for me. The anemic Cincy offense won't be able to keep up with a Dallas team coming off a tough home loss, and once the Boys are up the coaches know Jerry Jones is going to want to what his fellow Razorback can do out there with extended playing time. With potentially 14 more games to play, they aren't going to wear Barber down once the game is in hand.

 That's for trademark infringement. The name and likeness of Ocho Stinko belongs solely to Mark Brunell.

Quick question, did he complain when they won in week 3 and he caught 2 balls? Remember, the week he ran down the guy who picked off Romo (had to have been 50-60 yards later)? I am pretty sure the only complaints I remember from the media were after the loss to the Redskins. If that is the case, I think you already have the answer.

I would say at best Felix breaks a long run for a score on one of his few carries. I see nothing to indicate that Felix touches will significantly increase all of the sudden. I also don't expect a total blow out despite Cincy's 0-4 record.

I only read this thread because I was looking for Switz. How did 9 people post first?
 He must have been caught off guard.I jest because Switz was right in that Felix is very good...he just incorrectly predicted the downfall of MBIII.

I guess its just a combination of him being a rookie, being on Dallas, and being fast... but the felix jones hype is so overblown its sick. I can not beleive people are starting felix jones over people like marshawn. I just keep making fun of the guy in our league that is starting him week after week. Obviously you can't rely on a running back that puts up a kick return td one week and a 6-76-1 game the next week, etc.

Also, I think the biggest phallacy of the year up to this point is that the Bengals have a bad defense. I just don't see it. Guess I need to go analyze the games closer, but I swear the games the Bengals have been in have all been relatviely low scoring. Their defense is not that bad.

Felix will spell MB3 as usual. He will never get more touches than Barber in any scenario this year. If you want a realistic idea of Felix Jones year end stats, project out Chris Johnsons stats and reduce them by around 40%. Tennessee will have 500 rush attampts this year with Johnson getting over 50% of those. They are more adamant about getting the ball in Johnsons hands than Dallas is about Felix, and you see his production. He's doing good, but not as good as y'all seem to think Felix will do on less touches.

If you continue to be unrealistic about Felix Jones you will cost yourselves some wins this year. He's a good back to have on your team, but unless you have really bad running backs, hes nothing more than a flex or bye-week fill in (and handcuff for barber).

And when a guy touches the ball 5 times and happens to bust a 40 yd TD, that doesnt prove me wrong. Because next week he will be 4-28-0 and cost you the win, when you could have had your "other RB in there with his typical 20-85-1.

It's not that the Bengals defense is terrible, but Dallas' offense is still that much better than the Bengals defense. Yes, the game will be a blowout, and I look for Felix Jones to get more 2nd half carries than MBIII because of it.

I wouldn't go that far...sitting lynch for felix? not a wise move, IMO.

I'm not. I did think about it. I started to drink the switz coolaid. IF Felix gets 15 carries I'll prolly regret this one. I hope Lynch can turn it around. I threw up in my mouth alitte bit after watching his performance against the Rams last week.PEACE

very :IBTL: It appears Palmer is going to play. This game could be a 7/10 point win for Dallas. I don't see much time for Jones, You have to consider Barber is fresh from his low amount of carries last week( Barber should get 20+ carries this week). Plus T.O. will get his this week.I see less then 8 carries for Jones IMO, as this game will be closer then people think.

Care to make a side wager?

What, didn't like the pair of 20+ yard Lynch runs that were called back? Vomit seems a bit extreme..

I am starting Julius Jones over Felix. After 0 carries last week, I am not ready to plug him just yet. The only way he sees the field is on a BYE for one of my starters or MB3 goes down. I have never wished injury on anybody, but MB3 going down wouldn't hurt my feelings. ( nothing major of coarse, just maybe a toe )

The Rams run D isn't that bad. They have Carriker and Ryan up the middle. The only problem is, the team basically gave up on their coach. ( ex- coach )

6 for 65 on the ground with a TD and 1 catch in the first half. Definitely feels like he's getting the ball more and in meaningful situations.

So far so good!

:hifive:

I only read this thread because I was looking for Switz. How did 9 people post first?
MBIII >>>> Addai
Not this week. Both Addai and Felix were better than MB3 this week.Interesting, and meaningless, stat - the Cowboys win every game Felix scores a TD in.P.S. I didn't advocate starting Felix this week... I'm not going to bother helping all the doubters. But the disparity between Jones talent at RB and Barber's was very evident to anyone that watched the game.

come on switz. I am a huge homer and I hope you don't really believe that. Jones has talent but he is not there yet

Felix looked good, but you need to get his junk outta your mouth!

:lmao: bitter Barber owner? Classy guy :rolleyes:Felix looked good, you should have left it at that.

He seems to make a few impressive plays every week. I have him in a couple dynasties and I'm excited about his future.
