FF Points Against Trends (1 Viewer)

I know there sites out there many sites out there where we can sort all sorts of FF Points Against stats from past years. What I am curious about is how reliable these numbers are from one year to the next. Obviously there are teams like the Jets that from 2014 to 2015  went from giving up the 4th most QB points to giving up the 28th. There are also situations like the Lions that gave up about 80 more points to RBs in 2015 than they did in 2014. Just looking at it quickly though, it is too difficult to tell if there are any real trends. From 14 to 15, six of the ten worst fantasy QB defenses remained in the bottom 10. However, when looking at the ten toughest QB defenses, only 4 of the ten teams remained. Does anyone know of an article or podcast somewhere that has a real statistical breakdown of these numbers? I often hear FF analysts say that from year to year defense/schedule is unpredictable, but they usually follow it up with anecdotal evidence like how much the Lions D became last year or how much the Broncos D improved.
