FFA In Death Spiral? (1 Viewer)

I think he's clear in a day or so. To his credit, Tim doesn't whine about a suspension or how he's treated here by moderators and is a positive part of the community. All good.
Oh, I don't disagree. I've been around long enough to know that, when tim starts a draft or a countdown (i.e., when he's "active"), he's gonna get a TO shortly thereafter because he'll wander into places he probably shouldn't.

I actually took this advice yesterday in an otherwise benign thread. If I had said what I wanted to, I'd be on the sidelines with tim.

Word. I'm first in line for the "Giving advice is easier than taking your own advice" club.

I think the site has really shifted in content as everyone has aged. And there were some growing pains in between. I come here less for entertainment and fantasy advice now. More so for information, opinions, camaraderie, and habit. I mean, I still want the eat-off thread thriving, and love when someone starts a funny story, but there is more here now than just that.

I think that's a good point. If we've had one thing I see among successful companies, is they're able to evolve. The trick of course is not to lose the thing that made the company attractive in the first place. It's a challenge.

I think we've done ok there.

Certainly there are tons more outlets for people to have discussion online now then there were in the past.

I do worry we aren't bringing enough new people. And I want to do more to encourage more diversity in opinion. But overall, I think we do ok in how the forums work.

Thanks to all for contributing. Y'all are what make the forums happen.

Even Fantasy has changed.  It went from 8-12 team leagues and a flood of questions of who do I start, to DFS and legalized sports betting. What sports channel doesn’t have some sort of handicapping show?  Heck, even the Mannings are promoting Caesers Sportsbooks.  Never dreamed that would happen when I signed up on OL’ Yellow here back in the day.
