**FFA POKER** (3 Viewers)

For what it's worth I gave the site a test run. To be fair the software isn't Full tilt/Pokerstars quality, but it gets the job done. The play was awful. I got it in Preflop with a big ace for $175 and got called off by 8 high (and he hit).

I can't say how the payouts are as I never hit withdraw, but if it's backed by Goo that is good enough for me.

If Otis is on this now.... I may buy in again for some fun. And to be fair this would actually work better for us late night MTT donks as we dont have to sheashmal each other.

Agree with all of this. Oh and as to the bolded, I agree, the play is bad, but as a result you have to have the stomach to take it when the donks inevitably catch rivers and awful outs on you. I've had some awful, awful beats in the past 24 hours.

 
Sitting on nearly $8k right now. This is all profit; I already took a withdrawal that covered all my deposits and then a little profit.

One problem with the software. Every time I go on the waiting list and it's my turn, I say Yes I want the seat, and it skips me and gives it to someone else. Has happened every single time so far.

Weird. Sometimes a dialog box is up behind my game screen, I have to click behind to close it before I can act. Maybe it's that?

 
Bleh. Cold streak in progress. Glad I'm at micros.

Edit: Yep, all the morning's meager winnings are gone. I definitely was donking off. Way out of poker shape. Time to shut it down for the evening.

I know that feeling. My stack of nearly 8k is down near 6k. Granted, I lost a couple races. so that should balance out, but still.

 
Thing is, it was me. First off, it would only let me buy in for half of what it was letting me buy in this morning, only 50BB, so I don't get that. But then I played poorly. I wasn't loosing races. I was losing because I should have been. This session was on me big time.

Those happen. You'll sharpen up. The FFA is rusty as hell. Over the long haul, we're a bad ### bunch of players.

Probably a little dumb to sit somewhat short stacked at these limits, but had been watching in the background and a spot finally opened up so I figured I'd join in for a bit.

Few doubles-up would be nice GB. :thumbup:

Dude, I deposited 500 bucks and started playing at these limits. I've been up and down between $300 and $2k a number of times over the past two days, before this recent run this afternoon. I was sure I was gonna have to deposit again. Hoping now maybe not. (I'm sure I will).

 
Stopped by to see how you two were doing, and see Uni all-in with AA for a nice double up!

Oats sitting at 5.8k and Uni with 1.6k, at a max 1k table. Looks like you guys are doing work fellas. :moneybag:

You had him till the turn. You've been schooling these guys all night. That sir loin guy is half decent, beware. I hate him.

 
Took me 4 hands to get F'ed. A-A-X-X got called by K-J-7-6 on a 7-5-2 flop. He called $88 pre, and 140 more on the flop.

Great times.

I'm getting tempted to play here... Donks will always get lucky, but assuming the software isn't rigged, the odds pan out over a length of time.

Oh I was just kidding. 92 hand was Oats. Preflop raised so I kind of thought I was actually value betting against an ace. Could have been worse.

Definitely a pretty soft game for these limits though. I played a bit at the lower limits earlier today and had decent success as well. A lot of strange moves by players that left me totally shuked.
