I have been in the same boat, but I stuck it out, tightened up, and played mostly premium hands for a couple of hours. The players are generally pretty bad, so not a ton of reasons to remember starting hands or betting patterns anyway.I probably did 4 hours last night, while watching the Wire and only half paying attention and left the table with 200BB.

Yup that was me. Horrific. I quit.
Was up 5k in paid out cash in hand and had another near 4k in profit in my account. Down to 1k profit in hand. Is what it is.
I'm taking that 1k to the casino with my wife tomorrow to cover the hotel and dinner and then I'm going to get filthy drunk and slay #####es at the high stakes blackjack tables, because I have good luck coming to me. Basically this was an investment. Can I get a hell yeah?

Bad things happening, They can't process my deposits from paypal, .......................from my bank account.......I have 10K + in there............they went to a expired CC, but could not take the instant transfer,........doesn't mater either way but I have 1K promised to them and nothing to show for it........all they have to do is take it out of my bank account;..........been over an hour now and no response.

Dude when you get drunk it's so hard to understand what you're talking about.
If you are trying to deposit to the new site, you can't do it through the site or software. Told you, you have to email the guy and PP money to him. That's how you deposit to the site. He's a human being, so he isn't at his computer 24/7,but still in my experience has always managed to react fast, like within 15 minutes, to transfer it into your poker account after sending him a schmayschmal. (at 4am on a holiday weekend I can't imagine he will be able to react that fast, but who knows). If you're saying you tried sending him money via the PP gift option and it's not working, then that sounds like a problem with your PP account.
When it comes time to withdraw, send him an email. He will send you a FedEx.
And in the meantime stop drinking and go to bed.

The moral of the story here is it's a cash/shmeyshmal friendly enterprise and thats a good thing. The downside is you need to ship funds well in advance if you to play on your own schedule. Turns out shiping him cash at 2:30 AM or on the 4th of July isn't going to be good for an instadeposit.

Sure. I would recommend just making a small deposit, 20 bucks, whatever, and trying out the tables that way. It would be a good site if I didn't keep getting rear ended.

oof... Mine was AA against 55, flop ###. I re-raised my opening to pot plus 3BB to isolate the first raiser, the 55 guy called 15BB preflop. I have in the past, though not in some years. Shady place on 34th street, up in some apartment. Not sure I'd want to do it regularly.

Yeah meant more of a true home game atmosphere where newcomers would be welcome. If I'm doing something shady with the possibility of getting my ### kicked, or the cops busting in, I'd go to the rub and tugs with my buddies.

so is there no way for US players to just deposit and play any more like the good ol' days? being from Louisiana, I know we are in the exclusion rules for just about every type of gambling anyway, but I sure would like to play some more!

I staked a guy in the WSOP, just $600 and I sold some that off to the Syndicate, and he made it through Day 2 yesterday. Bad news is he had an 80k chip count and had a couple of bad beats at the end of the day (AQs to AKs was one) that took him down to 29k. Almost in miracle territory now.

Well, went through the site.........3K loser at least. There are players on the site, it is a nice option when you have no other. I must say there is something off, I don't know what it is, the gameplay, the people..........but it is not how it was presented as gamblers just playing at poker for the hell of it. Players are making a living playing there and they are making it off of me. I went to lower limits......there is a few fish there but still many good players. And if you play enough like I have you will see the same names over and over again,.,,,,But I took the bait lost my cash and a lesson for all to learn.

Yup, I haven't figured out what the deal is honestly. I was crushing in the first two weeks (as many here witnessed). Thousands in winnings. In the past week or so, I've taken a crushing. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, so it's probably just running cold, but I've taken some ferocious beats. There are still plenty of bad players at the higher stakes tables, but as Cav says there are definitely a few wolves feasting. Mostly I've found they are just rock players. They play standard, safe, by the book, and crush on big hands.
Anyway, again, I don't think anything is "rigged" or otherwise; I still think there are some very soft players, but there are definitely a handful of really good players. Beware.
