I can NOT believe the Rockets AND Hawks BOTH came back from DOUBLE DIGIT deficits at Halftime. We're still ALIVE folks! :excited:

You guys got me to expand my horizons today and throw out some NHL bets while waiting for the super bowl. added two parlays base solely on tailing you fine gentlemen!bruins MLStl MLColumbus over 5.5

Went with the G'town/Notre Dame over 122.5 at 5Dimes. I wanted to take the Irish but backed off because I don't trust them right now. I fully expect to sweat the total but I can see the Hoyas winning this with a score like 66-63 or something. And Northfield harness racing starts in 90 minutes. I'm locked and loaded! :boxing:

I don't usually bet a single race until close to post time, but I'm starting out with a double: 2 in the 1st w 2,3 in the 2nd.

2YO Champion Filly and Breeder's Cup winner, Beholder, makes her '13 debut here in 10 minutes. She's a very short price, of course, offering some value on others here and is worth trying to beat. She hasn't run in 2 1/2 months and they have their eyes on bigger stakes down the road. However, she does look more than ready, working very well.Anyway, going with Dawn's Charm (the 3 horse in the 7th at Santa Anita), who aired in her last start, winning by 10+. That was only her third start and it looks like something clicked with her as she broke fast, cleared the field early and just kept going. Maybe she can steal this one, too. Worth a shot at 21 - 1 currently (although that will drop). For an exacta, box her with Beholder (the 8).

2 won at short odds, so the double will be minimal but it's something. Skipped race 1, going with an Exacta 3 w/ 2,8 in the second.

So on that 5dimes Tony, Toni, Tone thing...Was the line wrong? How much was the bet??? I guess I don't understand the over-the-top outrage right out of the gate.
:goodposting:
I guess Tony thought it was a BS line, Marian has gone over 10.5 5 times this year he usually gets around probably 8-9.There is a another guy that does a ton of props like I do, and he is killing it this yr around 67% or something. 5dimes has him marked and he usually moves the juice crazy after he makes his plays. I'm talking from -140 to -210 or close to that. Guess 5dimes is sick of it, so they are going to make up their own rules. The bet was cancelled after not before.

You mean after the bet was made and before the game started right?

Well, she almost did steal it. Beholder's jock was worried and went after her early, so the two hooked up on the turn and went head and head the entire stretch with Beholder winning the photo. For second! The long battle between the two left both gassed and a longshot nailed them late.Good news is this ruins a LOT of pick 6 tickets. There already was an $18 winner and the next two races are very difficult. The pool was $100,000 from yesterday. Today it's over $900,000. With a double carryover and a 2-day break in the action, you'll have a ####load of bettors all over the country playing this on Thursday. Similar situation to that Thanksgiving one (3-day carryover). It will be well over $2,000,000. :excited: Just need one more medium-priced horse to win one of these last two races.

DD hit for 18.20. Better than I expected! Throwing darts on race 3. EX 3 w/1,6,7

Race 4 - Still kind of throwing darts here, but going EX 7 w/ 2,3. I like these kind of cheap bets when I'm not confident. The DD is already pretty much paying for my Northfield day, but one or two more hits would be nice. I don't really expect it here.

Well.... thats not exactly optimal. But it's not horrific. At first I thought the bet cashed and then they tried to pull the plug.

Yeah no biggie just thought I would share

Race 5. I actually like this one. 1 should win as long as there are no breaking issues.Keying the 1 w/2,3,8. Really hoping the 8 sneaks in here.
