FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

2YO Champion Filly and Breeder's Cup winner, Beholder, makes her '13 debut here in 10 minutes. She's a very short price, of course, offering some value on others here and is worth trying to beat. She hasn't run in 2 1/2 months and they have their eyes on bigger stakes down the road. However, she does look more than ready, working very well.Anyway, going with Dawn's Charm (the 3 horse in the 7th at Santa Anita), who aired in her last start, winning by 10+. That was only her third start and it looks like something clicked with her as she broke fast, cleared the field early and just kept going. Maybe she can steal this one, too. Worth a shot at 21 - 1 currently (although that will drop). For an exacta, box her with Beholder (the 8).
Well, she almost did steal it. Beholder's jock was worried and went after her early, so the two hooked up on the turn and went head and head the entire stretch with Beholder winning the photo. For second! The long battle between the two left both gassed and a longshot nailed them late.Good news is this ruins a LOT of pick 6 tickets. There already was an $18 winner and the next two races are very difficult. The pool was $100,000 from yesterday. Today it's over $900,000. With a double carryover and a 2-day break in the action, you'll have a ####load of bettors all over the country playing this on Thursday. Similar situation to that Thanksgiving one (3-day carryover). It will be well over $2,000,000. :excited: Just need one more medium-priced horse to win one of these last two races.
If it carries over again I'd consider throwing some money at itEDIT: never mind...Looks like a couple of people cashed a $269K ticket

No carryover, Dan, someone hit. Two tickets actually, paid $270K each. ####, I was really looking forward to putting a big ticket together for Thursday. Oh well...

Yeah just saw that...I'm sure there will be plenty of big carryovers this yearPick 6 is typically out of my groups investment range but if you go after one I'd consider throwing a couple hundy at it depending on my budget at the time

Falling just short since the initial DD bet hit. Going with WPS on #8 for race 6.Also the beginning of a Pick 3. We'll try 1,2,8 w/ 1,5 w/ 3,7. If I don't at least get one of these, I'll probably quit for the night. At least I would if I wasn't a complete degenerate.

The 21 y/o (number two) broke it off w me today. The good news is that I saw it coming and was able to recruit the Italian nurse from the internet who looks to be a perfect fit for the number two role.

I'm tailing Gussy on the Ducks. Anaheim converted all three of its chances on the power play Saturday.ANAHEIM DUCKS -115230/200

Blues! I've watched more hockey in these last 2 days than the rest of my life. I'm starting to realize that ice isn't just for your cocktail! DD mowing 'em down!

Certainly think if i were to ever meet Frosty in real life one of the first things i would have to do is give him a high-fiveETA: and love the Blue Jackets and Red Wings turning it up to finish the 2nd. One more goal would be lovely

My number three girl is working from her home today wearing a pair of flannel TMNT boxer shorts that my number two girl bought for me on my birthday.

 ETA-Holy smokes...I misread that when tailing....thought you bet the UNDER and I took the UNDER.

Didn't mean to rub this in. Going back to my corner.

:excited: Nice hit! And no worries. That play was just 1/3U and I'm 4-1 on the day regardless.

And to think after all this time....the shark move is to fade....myself.

#### I forgot Lon Kruger was coaching Oklahoma now. That explains why they're suddenly relevant again. Feeling less confident about the Texas +7.5 bet considering Rick Barnes couldn't outcoach a wet sock. Big time coaching mismatch here.

What I know about hockey was learned playing NHL '94 on the old Super Nintendo.
I used to wreck shop with Lemieux and Jagr on the Pens.
I used to love playing Boston. Bourque and Leach were beasts on D. Played StL for Hull and Shanahan...couldn't stop me with the breakaway one-timer.
I used to be the NJ devils. Brodeur was stupid good. You can't lose if the other team can't score. My buddy uses to be pit and we had hours of epic matches.
