FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (13 Viewers)

I'll be away for bit. Hopefully back for college football.

Closing on a house in Newtown Square here within the next few days. Moving. Oh and Vegas for a week.

My first place, paying/supervising movers should be a blast huh? Not to mention cutting over a bunch of utilities accounts.

That said, I'll probs see you guys tomorrow.
Good luck.

When you get around to it I'd love to hear how you settled on newtown square and not Vegas or something..... Other then the fact you want to live past 45.
It's 10 mins from the city. In a nice area. And my job has finally promised me some stability - I've been all over North America for a long time now. They dangled a job in front of me in LA and Chicago this year but no raise. I'm done moving. I'm pissing money away on rent every month. Found a place perfectly sized for me and the dog. Not sure what I'm going to do with 2.5 bathrooms though. I'm open to suggestions

Congrats, JB! Newtown Square is an incredibly nice area to live/own in, glad for you man.

So are you locked into the Philly area for the time being then?

Congrats! owning a house is awesome

After school last night a man in my class asked me to help him and his family start an Asian grocery store. Nobody will give him the time of day whenever he calls the leasing office because he only speaks broken English. So he gave me a list of questions and asked me to call them.

Yeah, Newtown square is a nice place. I'm not sure how the single ladies are there, but you are right that you are close enough to be able to hop back and forth. And with the 2.5 bathrooms, keep those bad boys. Can't go wrong with that

Border Patrol was all over the ranch last weekend. They had a "confirmed" party of 13 mules that came across the river into my property on Friday night. Saturday they apprehended 7, with no contraband. Sunday morning they located, followed and lost the coyote. Still no dope. Sunday afternoon late they found an (undetermined amount) of empty backpacks about a mile from my north property line. Monday around noon, radio crackled that they found 3 more mules heading back to Mexico, attempting to cross the river. One was snakebit, and assumed fatal. Again, no contraband.

Either one of my neighbors is getting rich, or the BP is dirty. We have alot of traffic on our ranch due to leases with livery companies, universities studying artifacts, and the occasional fisherman. Whitetail season doesn't start until November, and those folks are (appear) upfront. I know it's a lot of country to cover, but there has to be a dropoff point somewhere that we don't know about.

via Twitter: Joe Mauer has left the team to be with the wife as she prepares to give birth to Twins. I'm hitting the unders in this game every way possible.

Sometimes you need a little shove out the door; a sign from the Gambling Gods that it's time to say :bye: to baseball season. Phil F--KING Hughes throwing a GEM at the Rangers in Arlington would qualify. And now every penny of my Heat profits have evaporated.

Oh well. Bring on :football: ...

Lumpy better have a good season!

This is me....not saying a word....
 i was thinking the same thing. i was also thinking i wish i played more then just the under for the game. and was also thinking that i see a guy on 1st in the top of the 9th for the Yanks, so fingers are crossed for both

It had to happen like that. I couldn't just lose a normal game. They had to rip out my heart in the process.

Oh well.... I still got my looks.

Sweet mother of Jesus.

Next year we should just get Rud to close the thread after the cup and save the rest of us the heartache till the fall.

sorry bud, they pee'd all over you. I was perfectly fine with the Twins getting 1 run in that 10th, and the as my gamecast was catching up with what was going on all i could think of was the Bennie Hill music in the background with the Angles running around in circles. tough break

I'm never gambling again until tomorrow.

How on mother earth is there not a Dodgers thread in the baseball forum.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS +100
I got them at 18-1 to win the WS and I love it right now. Whoever started that thread in the FFA is going to be given a ton of propers when they blow through the NL in the playoffs

I don't think they will "blow through" the NL. Hitting in July is much different than hitting in the postseason. GL though.

Over the past month Jered Weaver has thrown 318 pitches out of the strike zone (fifth most in AL). And the Twins are hitting .141 and slugging .174 when they put a pitch out of the strike zone in play, both averages last in the AL. But Minny is also 8th in the majors with 3.28 walks per game (3.44 away).

Behind home plate Mike Muchlinski is 7-9 (8.69) O/U this year and 37-36 (8.92) O/U since 2011.

edit: Weaver got 134 strikes on those 318 pitches out of the K zone.

Those with Directv...time to make the annual call to get discounted/free sunday ticket/redzone
I've had good luck in the past because we didn't have a contract. However, we just upgraded to the Genie for free, but to do that we had to sign up for two years. I'm pretty sure I'll get nothing and like it.

The Twins haven't swept a series, but they have also been playing teams that give a crap about not being swept. The only way the Angels score is on solo shots, which kind of sums them up as a team right now. And they lead the MLB in errors.

Its highly frowned upon, but I should just mention that I am a Nielson house and they would probably empty the vault.
