FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (5 Viewers)

Went to the doc yesterday and my cholesterol is pretty high. :( I can't imagine why, on a diet of Big Macs, hot dogs, donuts, Ring Dings and beer. Guess it's time to start eating well again, like I did when I was living in the gym. Lots of protein shakes, sirloin steak and chicken breasts.

What I want to know is, does anyone have a tasty, healthy recipe for diced up chicken breasts in a frying pan? There is nothing more boring and uninspiring than plain chicken breasts. :X I dig spicy recipes, for the record.

Damn, I thought that under was going to hold. Blues had hit the post twice and celebrated, no goal. Then they score with 30 seconds left on a somewhat soft goal. Some great afternoon sweat regardless.

You. You're good you.
Glad you played it. Nah, I just know my Flyers and they suck at hockey right now and are reeling. Real tough schedule coming up, feel free to ride against them at will. vs Det, @anaheim, @LA, @San Jose. Sounds like free money.

Working on doing better myself. Chicken breasts are horrid unless you can grill them or slow cook them.

Crock pot is the way to go.

Toss them in with a jar of your favorite sauce and some mushrooms. Serve with Zucchini. They come out fantastic. Or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes, 1 can of tomato paste, garlic and onion powder, oregano and basil. Boom goes the dynamite.

Right now I have cubed up chix beast with the crock pot with a can of cream of mushroom soup, some water, loads of broccoli and mushrooms.

Marinate them in Greek dressing and stuff with feta and spinach and bake.

Chicken chili sounds like a better option too. There's a chicken tortilla soup recipe in our slow cooker thread that's phenomenal

The burners on my grill corroded so I started doing chicken breasts in the oven. Salt, pepper, Ms. Dash table blend. 3 breasts at 350 for 50 minutes in a square pyrex baking dish. This is going to sound way too healthy, but my appetizer is a 12 oz bag of raw broccoli plus whatever dressing I dip them in. I chop up the breasts and dump them on a tupperware bowl with two 10 oz bags of coleslaw + dressing. That's all I eat during the day and I wait until the end of the day to eat it for dinner. I have lost 8 lbs since school started, down to 194 from 202. If I need extra calories I add a package of boneless thighs and use the big rectangular dish.

i actually like them next game. Price should be juicy, and the beating they took today should have them more inspired. they aren't playing well right now, but i can see an effort next game. Timmo apparently ripped into the team after the game too

go buy some pam and pam olive oil spray. Spray the #### out of the pan like it was real oil

why does it have to be fried?

I enjoy stir-frying in a wok with veggies and sweet peppers. Bought some extra virgin olive oil for the task.

Operation Healthy Eating is underway again.

Strawberry-Vanilla protein shake with a banana for lunch. I feel better already. :banned:

Is cholesterol only a result of diet? I just donated blood and mine was really low. Pleasant surprise for me.

I do the grilling only in my house. Wifey does all the other cooking. She does do a mean chicken dish in the crock pot. I'll ask her for the recipe and I'll post it if she gives it up.

Anyone got anything good on this outdoor hockey tonight? Plan on being half in the bag the by opening face off and looking for some action.

It can be hereditary, but poor eating habits and smoking also contribute.

Been there. I get this really tasty General Tso's sauce, low on everything but sodium, which is spicy on it's own, but still sprinkle on some crushed red pepper of that extra zing.

There's also some good healthy orange chicken recipes out there. I just use an orange stir fry and a can of Manderine oranges (just the juice), but there are some probably much better.

If this is the one by Iron Chef, it's incredible. Been nagging Bender to try it for years. Very high in sugar though, IIRC.

Without even looking at the rosters though, you'd have to lean towards Deion's team. If he can inspire them to play even a little bit of defense, that could be all the difference that's needed.

Pro Bowl Total dropping fast.
I think you are the only one on the Pro Bowl Under island. We all learned our lesson about that the hard way. Don't read too much into the clock running after incompletions. I think there have been two incomplete passes in the past ten years.
Total dropped 5 points from last night. Down to 89 at 5dimes now.

Why yes. Yes it is. Love that stuff.

Yeah, 15g. Forgot about that.

I did try it GB. It was delicious. Very sugary though which I try to stay away from. My weight struggles have been well documented in here... From 325 to 175 to 260 to 190 all the time. When I'm on, I'm on, when I'm not, I'm a pig. I'm naturally built like a can of coke and, natural muscular, wide shoulders, big arms so when I was eating sugar for months at a time, the fat just blankets my big frame and I look like Ralphie May. Hoping this year I can stick with the running and no carb deal

I do the same thing, GB. I yo-yo like hell. I've been as low as 190 and as high as 250 over the past 5 years.
y'all ever try weight watchers? You can eat whatever you want as long as you stay within your allotted points for the day. It's not a diet, more like an eating plan. Much more sustainable than avoiding carbs IMO.

I haven't, but I have nothing against it. Every time I have set my mind on getting in shape, it's a breeze. Discipline is the key, no matter what program you're on. People in WW can still order everything on the menu at Wendy's if they wanted to.

TF... Doesn't work for me. Only because certain foods trigger me to just eat more. Eating whatever I want with portion control always leads me to binge eating crap. Kicking sugar out of my diet completely and not counting calories causes me to have zero cravings and not look at food as tasting good but just necessary to live. I've tried to just "watch my portions", I eat a little pasta and then I want milk, and then I want chocolate, I go nuts.

It's all psychological for me. Problem was I was raised by my pops to be a wrestler. Wrestled from 6 until college for a top wrestling school. Had 4 percent body fat for 12 years of my life and ate salad and grilled chicken. Took laxatives, ran in the sauna, all the stories you hear about lifetime wrestlers. I got to college and went nuts and never shook or dealt with psychological side of being raised like that.

Low carb I can drink as much liquor as I want, eat steak and cheese and the weight melts off. Today is week 3 and I've dropped 17 lbs without working out or ever feeling hungry. It's just easy for me and what's always worked.

So you are mainly avoiding all breads and pasta?
Nothing with sugar or flour in it. 20 carbs a day, mostly from veggies. So yeah no bread or pasta. It's how I went from 325 to 185 in a year (and I ran 30 miles a week) Instead of tacos, I make Taco meat put it on lettuce, top it with fresh salsa, cheese and sour cream.

Caesar salads with chicken every day for lunch.

Steak and broccoli, Italian chicken, soup, made a corned beef brisket last weekend, etc etc.

Stir fry... No rice.

Pretty much. Keep it to 20 carbs a day.

Nugs, you better have checked in to get these. F'n Meza had to let Chico take him down too much, but 3-1 so far. And a sweet fight to boot from Pettis-Caceras

BOOM! I headed over to my moms house to pick up some prescription medication to take for fun. On the way I saw these posted, played them via mobile betting...then the phone croaked.

Lets keep it up!

and this is why i didn't check back in Bender with the wager him and his buddies do. I am shaking some chub off, but 17 pounds in 3 weeks has former wrestler written all over it. Good job bud, but remind me to not bet with you in a weight loss contest
