FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (11 Viewers)

I need to talk this out. There is no good reason why Edmonton should win tonight. They stink. They played last night. The Ducks are 45 points better than them, they are home, and if they stay ahead of San Jose they don't have to face the Kings in the first round. Anaheim has every argument on their side, yet I cannot pull the trigger and I have no idea why.

(And when I say "pull the trigger", I mean BIGGGG... like with the Sharks last night).

Part of it is remembering Winnipeg getting up 4-0 on Anaheim the other night. Part of it is the scare Edmonton put into me last night. I dunno, I'm probably just being a wuss, but something just doesn't feel right. Hold me!

21 minutes left. Pull the trigger!

P.S. I have no idea what this means I am just instigating.

P.S. The Yankees are very, very bad.
Phillies hold here and pull out a road series win in Texas, they are immediate fade material if they get priced up. They never, ever play well in April, and this Rangers team has some injuries. Playing the Cubs in Chi-town this weekend, and I'll be watching the lines on this for sure.

This guy kills me. "I am the BEST sports consultant in America!!!"

Meanwhile, none of the big players in Vegas have a f--kin clue who he is. :lmao:

Thank God this is fake, because I would HAVE to meet the people who give this greasy asshole 50% of the profit on the rare games he manages to win.

So these guys are standing here arguing about buying the hook on a BYU game. Maybe check one of the other 8,000 casinos in town to shop for a 6.5???

Asian chick in the first episode gave me a lap dance last time I was in Vegas.

:bowtie:

Literally as we're trying to leave the Spearmint Rhino:

"Hey, want a lap dance? I'm an adult film star!"

"No way, never heard of you before."

"Let me show you!"

:pickle:

Parker poss. staying at Duke is scary, you know K is going to be working him to come back and take another shot with the class they have coming in.

Embiid's back injury is scary too.

Also that Wiggins is a swing guy means he's not going to be a bad fit for some team, the way a PG or a true C like Embiid might be.

That said, plenty of time for things to change. Randle could rally. Embiid's back might check out. ####, look at the last draft.

Buy the 1/2 point from -12 to -11.5, how many college games land on 12
The whole show is just comical. STEVE STEVENS is pissed that his new high roller only bet $1K and $5K, respectively, on the first two games, instead of $20K each as he suggested. "If he had listened to me, he'd be up forty grand right now."

OOPS! Forgot about that pesky 50% cut of the winnings which is out the window instantly. :hophead:

ETA: And how is this clown's bet amount $5500 to win $5000 on NE when he bought a half a point??

I Suck at math but what percentage of games would this guy need to hit when accounting for vig and his 50 percent commission for his clients to break even?

Parker coming back would scare me, but I think you have Randle, Embiid, and Parker all with an equal chance and after workouts somebody like Randle or Dante Exum could even sneak up there. I'd consider it at even money so I love it at +250.

Some mocks:

Draft Express: Wiggins

NBADraft.net: Parker

Bleacher Report: Parker

CBS: Wiggins (x3)

ESPN: Wiggins/Parker depending on who wins the pick

HoopsHype: Parker

Sporting News: Parker

myNBADraft.com: Wiggins

NBADraftroom.com: Parker

SBNation: Wiggins

I haven't heard of a lot of these sites so I have no idea how reputable they might be, but that's 6 Wiggins and 6 Parker. I dunno. I just think +250 is crazy.

not sure

1) who that network trying to reach with that show

and

2) why anyone is still watching. I quit after ep1. Then again, I watch zombie apocalypse and a bunch of dead? plane wrecked people on an island being chased by the smoke monster (a college nickname of mine), polar bears and Others...so who am I to judge.

Los Angeles Lakers/Sacramento Kings 3rd Quarter Over 53 110/100
Sucks this didn't hit. Recent history had each of them averaging 29 points 3Q with that margin at the half. And the FG O/U was 8-1 when the Kings led by that much at the half - which is what the 2H total added up to.

It probably should have...in the last few minutes alone there were missed layups, fast break 3s missed when layups were available and a few missed fouls. Good play, bad result.
