SMU hasn't played against the Big 10 since 2008. Sagarin made it +2.8. So the line makes sense. I'm just going with a public fade after seeing it move to 2.5 at a couple books despite the big majority of what I can see at BM and 5d being on SMU. Action junkie.

You also have to take into account if Pop is gonna bench Duncan, Parker, Ginobli this evening as well.Since March the Spurs are: 17-0 SU and 14-2-1 ATS, 7-0 SU and ATS away, 11-0 SU and 9-1-1 against the Western conference. They are 4-3 SU and ATS as the underdog this season, and 3-1 SU and ATS as the underdog on zero days of rest. The Spurs are 13-4 SU and 11-5-1 ATS on zero days of rest this season.
The Thunder are 13-2 SU and 11-4 ATS when their opponent is playing on zero days of rest. They are 3-0 SU and ATS against the Spurs this season and 6-0 SU and ATS L6 against them at home. They are 31-7 SU and 22-15-1 ATS at home, and 7-1 SU and ATS at home since March. The O/U is 18-19-1 in Thunder home games (3-5 since March).
O/U is 6-11 (1-7 L8) when Spurs are on zero rest, 4-10-1 when the Thunder play an opponent who is on zero rest, 4-11 when the Thunder play on 2 or more days of rest. No clue how the high-profile matchup on TNT will affect what total they set, but the Thunder are 9-13 O/U against a total of 208 or more (5-10 home).
Trends say under, and I can't tell what the majority is on so far, but it is two high-profile teams on prime time on a night where not much else is going on, so maybe it gets bet up later when everyone gets off work.

I can't see any of these guys satisfied with a 0-0 draw or clamping down to a 1-0 lead and being content without the other team doing everything they can to tie the game and possibly leaving themselves exposed on the back end.
Almeira game totals at home are over 1.5 goals 68% of the time.
In 15 home games they have scored 20 and conceded 23
Osuna game totals on the road are over 1.5 goals 69% of the time.
In 16 road games they have scored 9 and conceded 31
Osuna ability to score on the road is the only scare I have that this could lead to a 1-0 game but i like the percentages that they can give us 2 goals.

Half of your bet is on over 2, half your bet is on over 2.5.
So total of 1 = lose 1u
Total of 2 = lose 0.5u
Total of 3+ = win 1u

The Clippers are 7-2 SU and 5-3-1 ATS against the Mavericks since the Chris Paul trade (4-0 SU and 2-2 ATS at home). The total has (also) gone 5-3-1 in those nine games (avg total 198.6). The L4 games between these two teams the total has gone 4-0 by margins of 9, 25, 48.5, and 1.5. This is the highest total set between these two teams since the CP trade.
In their L9 B2B games the Clippers are 4-5 SU and 4-5 ATS. They allowed an average of 112 ±5 in those nine games. But eight of them were away. And one of them was at Dallas last Thursday when they only allowed 103. Teams coming home to play in the second game of a B2B are 67-76-1 ATS (.469) this season, and 25-33-1 (.431) when their opponent has had one or more days of rest. So that could be the angle, combined with Dallas' playoff situation. The next two games should be interesting for Dallas. They have B2B games in Los Angeles. FWIW, after tonight the Spurs have two days off before playing at home against the Grizzlies on the 6th. They then have three more days off before playing at Dallas on the 10th. They also won by 21 last night after being up by 15 at the half - not sure how many minutes the starters played in the 2H last night?

Under Gregg Popovich, the Spurs are 9-4 SU and ATS as the underdog (avg line 4.3) after losing to a team four times in a row (7-0 SU L7).

They haven't lost to a team five times in a row since May 9 2010, and are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in quadruple revenge games since then!! 14-8 SU and 13-9 ATS quadruple revenge games under Pop overall with an O/U of 6-15-1.

Waiting for the episode where he breaks down how he does his handicapping for his "owners picks." Because frankly, if he's really going with "I just bet the better team" and "I play small conference games that aren't on TV where one team has men and the other has boys" angle he really is just a monkey throwing darts at a board. The one where he had the guy watching a game with him on a laptop in a hotel suite was priceless.
