Saturday Afternoon Pucks:

Bruins (-115) at Flyers-Both teams come in having won 2 in a row. Bruins showing signs of life and this is an important game as TB and NYR are on deck. Don't see any real advantage to either side here. I like the under 5 1/2 but not at the current -140. PASS.

Preds (-115) at Wild-There's money to be made fading the Wild and I will be again. Preds haven't been playing as well defensively as of late and the Wild have goaltender issues so the over 5 is very live, but at -140 again too rich. I'll be on the PREDS.

Stars at Avs (-115)-No real value on either side or total here. You may think Dallas has come back to earth having lost 3 in a row, I see a team that lost at Nash and Chi and lost to C'Bus with a backup goalie. Problem here is the Av's are also playing pretty solid right now. Should be an entertaining game. PASS.

I couldn't tell if he'd be back or not, but Nugs had it pegged. I'm not going to even try to call this game tonight though. The info on days rest and who's in/who's out just needed to be mentioned before placing a bet.

Saturday Evening Pucks:

Pens at Habs (-115) Habs had their 6 game win streak broke by Bolts on Tuesday, probably one of the better games TB has played this year. Habs have still won 9 of their last 11 including hammering the Pens 4-1 in Pittsburgh a week ago. Pens meanwhile continue to struggle, losing in OT at home to the Bruins last time out. I like the Habs here and will look to play it tomorrow at the plus money at -1 1/2. I also like the UNDER 5 here at +105.

Canes at Blues (-220) Blues all of a sudden on a tear, outscoring their opponents (Sharks twice) 20-4 in last 3. Canes have been playing a little better but you don't want to get in front of this St. Louis team right now. Nothing to do here except consider them in a Parlay.

Wings (+115) at Caps-Both teams playing fairly well as of late. Have to question Detroit's legs as they now move to the East coast part of their long road trip, but I don't see value on either side or total here. PASS.

Sens at Yotes (-115)-Another game that doesn't really interest me. If I could get a high number on OT that would interest me, but that wont be out there. PASS.

Isles(-120) at Jackets-Both teams coming off Friday night games. Isles came back and beat the Devils while the Jackets let me down losing on the road to Toronto. I actually think these teams are fairly evenly matched and I don't see value anywhere. PASS.
