doesn't matter in the eyes of the IRS...technically you are supposed to report all winnings, and then you are allowed to deduct losses up to that amount.

I've only reported when I get a W2-G for horse racing. I don't think I'm at high risk for audit either, so I'm willing to take my chances and I'm not raking in big dollars like some of these guys...just saying the law says you should report any and all winnings

Looks like it's easy to report winnings but near impossible to deduct losses. F'ing awesome.

I always take the standard deduction but I'm not sure if my income bracket doesn't put me in a high risk arena for an audit.

This is annoying. I have a few thousand worth of poker winnings with Otis that I guess I'll need to throw on there. fml

 
3.25% of returns over $200k were audited.

Over $1MM annually and your odds are about 1 in 9.

Under $200k and you have less than a 1% shot at an audit.

I can't deposit Bovada checks via ATM since they are from a Canadian bank. Not sure what they mean but Chase ATMs don't take them in my experience. Not a big deal to use a teller though.

ive done cc before cause it was easier and needed the money in there. The withdrawal process doesnt get any easier tho

Yes makes sense...atms have improved around here....they force me to deposit any non USA based check at the bank

Mo said it best back in December about the huge UFC favorites. He said it gets to a point where you lay so much money it's like it's not as important if you win but just as long as you don't lose. Or something like that. It was a pretty good quote I've been meaning to give him props on because it changed the way I started looking at things.

:lmao: I said the exact same thing. the end of these CBB games are so funny with some teams fouling all the time, even down like 17, and other teams just not even fouling. And there really isn't much rhyme or reason when they do it
