FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

I'm reading Dean Oliver's 'Basketball on Paper'. It's pretty interesting. From 1999-2001, the Charlotte Hornets were 74-80 with Derrick Coleman in the lineup, and 54-20 without him.

Finally caught this on teh torrentz just now. Stray thoughts:

- The first 15 minutes were great. I felt the blackjack rush. It descended downhill rapidly from that point.

- The scenes where he is "teaching" are downright painful.

- Jessica Lange.... old age sucks. :topcat:

- LOL @ that budding tennis superstar. A five-foot-nothing unathletic stoner kid. Got it.

- Loved Omar getting stressed out during the game. "I told them not to win by more than 7!!!" (as the dog is just about winning outright).

- Why is Marky Mark's boy firing away down the stretch when he should be dribbling the clock out?

- "Give me the 3" didn't quite work for me the way it did when Caan said it.

- I won't be needing to see John Goodman topless anymore. Ever.

- The final scene was positively ludicrous on several different levels.

 
I took CS Fullerton 2nd half -4.5. They were going to cover with ease, and of course the game goes into OT and they lose the bet after easily covering the 2nd half play. ### #### i hate that :rant:

I'm on a flight with no wife and kid to Miami in about 6.5 hours.

Barring an airplane malfunction, this will end fantastic.

Happens to everyone, better now than during a big event like the NCAA hoops tourney, during bowl season, or in one of the playoffs.

Betting a road team -350 or whatever on the ML isn't a +EV bet FWIW, but at least you got that one.

stats.com plays did go 7-2 yesterday tho.

Still not worth the price without the defensive information on there, although its a nice tool

Last play for Sunday:

Blues -1/2 RT +135

Also looked at these but decided to pass:

Sabres +204 -Great lottery ticket, would have played it if BUF hadn't played yesterday. Hold your nose special.

Preds/Panthers OT +260- I prefer +300 on OT picks, but this one qualified otherwise.

Flyers +160- Numbers WAY too high in my opinion. Philadelphia is so bad on the road though..............

Avs/Jets U5.5 (-150)- No way to play this at -150, but if your book offered U5 it's worth a look. Look at the totals in AVS games on the 2nd night of back to back's this year. Consistently 5 or under.

Habs/Bruins U5 (-110) If Price and Raask are both in net this is a play, I'm assuming they won't be though.
