I know it's not much but this thread has been around for ages with a good group of guys - might be fun to pick against each other on Sundays for a winner take all pool.
I don't mind setting it up, but I don't want to hold the money. If any of the old guard is interested in holding the money and folks want to play, let's do it.

I don't have a local, wish I did.for 6 pt teasers....So what is the vig with your guy(s)?I hate how he always smugly tells me that teasers are a sucker bet. Deep down, I know he's probably right but my pride makes me want to win 20 of them in a row to stick it up his ###.-120 on 6pt 2 teamers is terrible, even -110 is a loser but at least you lose slower.You guys with local books... what are you getting for 2-team football teasers?
My guy gives 6 points (9 points for 3-teamers) and they are both $60 to win $50.
I can see not getting 6.5 points as long as the vig is $110/$100.

But to get the short end of the stick on BOTH counts seems like I'm being screwed. Should I shop around? I'm just gonna tell him that I promise to put in a minimum 100x bet for every teaser, but I'm going to insist on 6.5 points AND $550/$500 vig or I'll take my business elsewhere.
-110 for 2 teamers is pretty standard, it used to be +100 but books realized in the NFL they'd lose money on that so it's now -110 almost everywhere.
3 teamers should be +180, again we're starting to see the decline of this, +160 is now showing up everywhere cause the books are losing money.
4 teamers should be +300, still pretty standard everywhere

Bender, start a thread letting the rest of the FFA know about it. Only about 3% of the board ever checks this thread. We should make it an even $25. If we get 40 peeps, that's $1,000 winner-take-all. Nice to help with paying off the credit card bills after Christmas.

I believe they got rid of it, went to a straight mobile site instead of an app, the app was fantastic, wish they never got rid of it.

Basically, as a Redskins fan I know and understand Philly's offseason strategy all too well. This isn't the nba, mlb, etc. where you can add a bunch of flashy FA's and win. The nfl doesn't work that way. The lockout isn't going to make things any easier for them either. They're one of the teams that's going to be most hurt by it.This is a situation where classic groupthink has taken over, with the "Dream Team" and all that nonsense. There's probably more pressure on Philly than any other team this year.On offense I expect Vick to regress. Their oline has significant issues. Maclin is still recovering from his illness. Djax isn't happy about his contract. Steve Smith is a ?On defense, I don't think they've really improved. Sure, they've got great corners, but their lb's and safeties are a mess. And their fomrer oline coach, whose been on the offensive side of the ball for years, is now their DC. Yikes!Also, people are overrating their team from last season. Without the miracle comeback against the Giants, they don't win the division and likely don't even make the playoffs.In conclusion, this is a team that is set up to have a 7-9 to 9-7 type of season.

BetOnline.com taking US customers and allows for CC transactions w/o any of the P2P money order BS. Currently using them, pretty easy to deal with, simple entry interface, works on iPhone pretty seamlessly, etc.Worth a shot I guess to try them out.

I posted this almost 3 weeks ago, and was disappointed that no one responded. No offense intended, but in the spirit of trying to do my part to help out around here, I've played on all the sites frequently mentioned here, more or less because any serious gambler should have multiple outlets/accounts in order to shop lines......but for the last 3 years, I've primarily used this site, and although it doesn't offer all the exotics, I've found that for most of the important things (plenty to wager on, decent lines, great customer service, and prompt payouts) it does a fine job.I maintain my largest balance in this outlet, and generally make my largest plays here. IMO, it's a safe place.They get the job done as far as I'm concerned, and I'm very happy with them, and I like the fact that they aren't a 'mainstream' outlet that everyone's heard of. Low profile and under the radar is fine by me.Again, I encourage folks to check them out, and weigh in with your thoughts. Good Luck!
