FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

I fund my account 2 ways - Western Union, and sometimes with my Credit Card.

I can't remember how exactly I found out about this outlet, but given how long I've known about it, I'm pretty sure it had to be through someone at covers.com

I just signed up with them and did a live chat with one of the reps. Good customer service indeed. You get an "free play" which is the equivalent of 35% of your initial deposit between $500 and $1000. I think it's a 4.5x rollover and they ask that you keep your deposit and half the bonus in your account for 30 days. If you decline the bonus, you can withdraw every penny in your account at any time. Pretty standard.I like the layout of the website too.

Note to self: next preseason, bet EVERY OVER in week 3!

:wall: :wall: :wall:

I feel like I'm going to be sick.... how could I have missed the boat on this. I bet a million overs during the season.

I am just like you...if I dont like a side, just bet the overI got lucky as hell to hit the Over in the Packers game last night. And have been hitting the overs in these High School games at an alarming rate.

BetOnline.com taking US customers and allows for CC transactions w/o any of the P2P money order BS. Currently using them, pretty easy to deal with, simple entry interface, works on iPhone pretty seamlessly, etc.
Gotten a payout yet? Any issues?
Need to make a few units before I can let you know about withdraws :bag: Let's call it, "...building to get funded for football season." Yeah, that sounds better. No issues deposit wise, pretty simple with the CC. Use Amex, and can make deposits as small as $25 even, so if I'm in the mood for small action, I don't have to plunk down alot. Had to call customer service with a question on a wager, prompt and helpful, no BS. I value that a little if I need it.Playing the favorites tonight in a parlay, I think they hit:Phils -143 ML Cole OWNS the Reds.Giants -240 ML Timmy vs. the CubbiesTigers -170 ML Riskiest play, but I think Scherzer pitches well and the Tigers hit behind him vs. the Royals.GL to you guys.

Max Scherzer = :bag: I thought at one point they were showing a replay of a HR the Royals had just hit. No, that was another solo shot in consecutive batters.

Tried to send you a PM, GooRoo, it appears your inbox is full. Please send info when you get a chance. Thanks!
:goodposting: business is booming, what can I say ;) PM sent
I'll go ahead and vouch for GooRoo's chops. Just in the last 3 months he's 22-8 for me and we're +16 units or so (don't have the exact numbers in front of me). :excited:

I'll say this... he's been so good Sportsbook has dropped my max bet limits by about half. :lmao:

question...what are the chances the govt. freezes the online sportsbooks the same way they handled full tilt etc. etc.

??

You guys with local bookies... why do you bother going through the inherent hassles of online betting?

The "more outs" part I get. So just find more local bookies. They are everywhere. Once someone vouches for them, you are good to go.

I'd think if they are 100% off-shore, little to 0 chance. I'm by no means a lawyer, but I can't imagine how they'd have any jurisdiction to do anything. I'd also have to assume the countries within which these off-shore books operate would tell the US to shove it up their asses. Could be completely wrong here, but that's how I read it.

They already did. The smaller site beted.com folded and took all the players money, the bigger sites switched their URL and continued with business as usual. Bookmaker.com takes some of the largest bets offshore, if you go to that site you see a big government logo, they're now bookmaker.eu and continuing to operate.

nothing to do with the books. they go after the processors. only good thing is most smaller stupid locals who do not understand gambling and math. you can bang them with correlated parlays, middles and scalps. i have a local who juices favorites in MLB and you can bet him one way, another guy another and win a few $100 everyday with zero risk (besides being stiffed obviously).

If you have betonline funded San Diego o10 wins -135, this is way off from the rest of the market. Bookmaker is at 11 and pinnacle is at 10 -210

My draft is in six hours and I need an answer. Can't post this in the Shark Pool. The guys in my league hang there.

In round 2, either Roddy White or Calvin Johnson will be staring me in the face. Who do you guys like better? (Non-PPR).

I keep going back and forth. Might have to flip a coin.

It would be a no-brainer Calvin selection for me.

What if I gave you a SURE THING at plus money... is that something that would interest you?

Boston Red Sox -1½ (+105)

This coming from a Yankee fan. We are going to get destroyed tonight. You're welcome in advance.

Thanks. His success is mainly tied to "Glass Joe" Stafford, which worries me.

Yes but the Lions have decent backup QB's IF the unthinkable happens.

He did ok without him last season. I would say even the most inexperienced NFL QB would be in heaven throwing jump balls to a gamebreaker that is 6'5" 240 lbs. Firm believer in the Lions this year with or without Stafford. Their defense is fast and mean and should be turnover machine as well.Roddy is a great player in a great situation, but he just isn't the freak capable of the season Calvin is. If Stafford holds up we could be looking at a 18 td season.

Agreed. This isn't even close in non-ppr, imo. Only wr I have ranked higher is Andre Johnson.

If the draft falls like I expect it to, there is an excellent chance I end up with Andre AND Calvin. 1.10 and 2.03.
I would be great with this, this season. With the lockout it will be the year of the pass, with bad hammies and other assorted injuries plaguing the league's top back due to the lack of offseason programs and what not. Plenty of situations haven't sorted themselves out yet where you could find value at RB the next 3 rounds and then draft a couple QBs to platoon (Ryan, Stafford, Roethlisberger, Freeman, Bradford) types. I like not investing much in a 3rd WR spot if you have one because guys come out of nowhere every year at the position and you can usually do pretty well if you can grab 1 or two of the guys the blow up the first few weeks./hijackGood luck on your draft, brother.

Thanks man! My league is full of QB WHORES... so I can almost certainly make this happen. I'm already keeping Big Ben with a late pick. My RBs are gonna suffer a bit, but not having to worry about WR all year is worth it. Still, this is the deepest group of fantasy-worthy RBs I think I've ever seen, so this is the year to go WR-WR right off the bat.

I'm here to brag and to guarantee this loses tonight anyway

Football - NFL - Kansas City Chiefs vs. Green Bay Packers - Kansas City Chiefs 9/1/2011 7:00:01 PM- (EST)

+6 -115

Played the chiefs +6 on monday, now down to chiefs +1.5, I've never beat an NFL line by 4.5 pts

Here's some picks for today's game. Good luck if you use them!

Platinum Pick:

North Texas @ Florida International (-14.0)

Gold Picks:

Wake Forest @ Syracuse (-6.0)

The Carrier Dome will be rocking tonight! Too much noise for young Tanner Price and too much Ryan Nassib for Wake Forest to keep this one within 6 points.

Bowling Green @ Idaho (-6.0)

Idaho’s veteran defense along with QB Brian Reader, will be enough to pull out at least a touchdown victory over Bowling Green. Fans will leave the Kibbie Dome happy tonight.

Silver Picks:

UNLV (+35.5) @ Wisconsin

Wisconsin’s ball control offense will make it hard for them to cover 35.5 points. I think they will get close, but fall just short.

Mississippi State @ Memphis (+31.0)

I don’t think Mississippi State will show enough of their offense to cover a 31 point spread @ Memphis. I look for them to be conservative today and wait to unleash the offense in full force next week @ Auburn.

Kentucky vs. W. Kentucky (+18.0) (Neutral Site)

This game is a toss-up for me. I think with the loss of Randall Cobb, Kentucky will struggle this season to find offense. Western Kentucky should be able to keep it within 17 points with star RB Bobby Rainey controlling the clock and a veteran group returning (15 returning starters).

Platinum Pick:

North Texas @ Florida International (-14.0)
Love FIU tonight. They are a much better team overall w/ veterans returning all over the offense, in particular, at QB and WR. They were a good offensive team last year and this year the Defense is supposed to be vastly improved. FIU is my pick to win the Sun Belt and I'd be  if they don't lay a disgusting smack down on NTexas. I think they'll be a great value play in two weeks vs. Louisville too, fwiw.
