I think something is wrong with brady, some type of injury. They talked about it on espn radio this morning. He did not play a good game yesterday. A lot of low throws, on that one seam route he missed a wide open Gronk, WIDE OPEN, he doesn't miss throws like that. That Giants front 4 is nasty.

100u on NYG +3.5 -115 through +3 +105 for me so far. I wonder who is going to cover Nicks and Cruz. Gronk on Nicks? Maybe Edelman or Woodcock on Cruz?

The Pats signed Billy Bob Thornton? I'm rolling with Giants ML and over 55.

No, it's basically the same and usually repeats picks. I've been seeing a trend with some of them that I want to check if it has historical significance, but not sure how easily I can. If it does, it would most likely go against 3 or 4 of our picks for tonight

Melo is out again tonight. ND killed them on the boards and cincy is physical. He doesn't score a lot but was obviously missed in the paint. Line is now cincy +5.5 but I expect it to come back down before tip

Did a little research on ESPN. Based on stats, looking at Heidar Helguson to score anytime @ 11/4. Thinking match result QPR @ 9/2 as a small swing for the fences at basically a parlay payout, and mid-to-large on over 2.5 goals at -105. Square play of Chelsea at the half/Chelsea to win at +135 seems like a nice hedge and QPR +1 goal @ +115. Possibly Ramires to score @ 11/4, but based on facts a number of guys who can score on Chelsea could make that a much longer shot that 11/4. Thoughts on those, and anything stick out at you as eas(ier) money?

Frankie Lampard is out...so I like QPR and the under...QPR +1 is a good bet at + money imo

I'm going over because I like the Leafs and the teams to break out some but I'm trying to see what your system has as a future indicator. Yesterday you pegged the Caps and that was great, but the game went over on some weird luck. The shots are a more controlled variable while where those shots end up, is not. Basically I think team shots are a good bet if the information available can provide details. However I think there will be overlap with the game total more than not especially if you are calling for both teams being under, or both being over. I think this passes the educated guess level and into handicapping foundation territory.

I'll give it a look in a bit. We have one play we are reviewing now that interests us more then the rest and it is getting most of our attention right now. Not sure how good we like it yet, and I can't in good faith say it before we get our play in. As you saw with the Capitials play yesterday these prop lines/odds move fast so I can't tip my hand yet. It just wouldn't be fair to my partner in crime.

Sweet. I think I'm gonna start tracking these things. I'm going to guess that 60 is a key number for combined shots, but that is a guess based on save percentage and the possibility of an empty net goal. If I can find a standard deviation based on 100 or so games, that would be a good start. I'm sure someone else has already tried this or even employs it, but I'm gonna see what I can find out. Well, that was a doozy. Went to a low-key party for the second game yesterday where they waited to start it for some late friends, which was fine, AT FIRST. Turned off the phone, etc, then secretly hoped we'd catch up by half so I could add plays if needed. Didn't happen, which sucked, besides people talking too much about other ####.

Then, right after the idiot touched the ball on the punt, and the game takes this great turn, the TV goes to American Idol. Everybody knew right away what this probly meant, and I get up, look away, plug my ears, and run to the kitchen, hoping against hope that this great game didn't just get ruined. But it did. Picked the game back up in OT. I was so pissed. A game THAT big!

Also, since everyone was for the 9ers, I said I was too. So I had to fake it all game long. They would've known I bet had I been rooting for a NY team, guaranteed. It's weird fake-rooting, but kinda funny. In fact, I was so distraught about missing the 4th, a friend finally asked, across the room of course, if I had bets on the game. These guys don't bet, btw, so they just don't understand.

Anyway...WE MOVE ON.

Oh, and thanks to Rude Dawg for that Caps under. That was BRILLIANT!
