FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (9 Viewers)

i have to go to my office tomorrow, so i won't be able to enjoy the festivities of college basketball during the day. i hate going on my own thoughts with these, but i think i will be taking:

UConn -2

Pitt +6

So if anybody has any strong feelings on these games and wants to weigh in, i would be delighted to here it. And any other strong leans would be cool too

and i think i like Seton Hall and Villanova in the evening

Mo, I like the other sides of both games. I may have a multi-unit play on WVU.

whew, thanks a lot bud. Certainly means no plays for me, and maybe i will toss a little on WVU before i go to bed. Muchos Gracias bud, i appreciate you saying something.

No problem, just don't kill me when UConn and Pitt cover :bag:

Considering that i can't only name one or 2 players on each team, i really don't have any right even betting on them. If it covered, it would be luck.

Setting up to be a bee-yoo-tiful day at the office!

Two Conference Championship Games this PM:

7PM Patriot League: #1 Bucknell (-4) vs #2 Lehigh

Both Bucknell and Lehigh have special players - Bucknell's Mike Muscala is a 6-11 monster in the middle who's a 2-way threat, and a big reason why Bucknell has the top FG% Offense and top scoring defense in the League. Lehigh counters with CJ McCollum, who's the nations 6th leading scorer. Split the Season series, each winning on the others court. Game tonight is @ Bucknell. Better defense and better overall team carry the day over a special player. Bucknell and Muscala are going to make life hell for some team in the 1st Round of the Dance, and very likely the 2nd as well.

7PM Northeast Conference: #1 Long Island pick'm #3 Robert Morris

Jamal Olosewere (LIU) vs Velton Jones (Robert Morris). Robert Morris upset #2 Seed Wagner to get to this game, and were one of only 2 teams to beat LIU in conference play, 75-66 in late January @ Robert Morris. Tonight's game is @ LIU, who sport the League's top scoring offense and FG %, and are hot right now, having won 8 of 9. Wagner was actually the favorite to win this tourney, so LIU has to be up that they aren't here, and that they have a chance to avenge an in-season loss in front of their home crowd. I don't think RM has it in them to string together 2 straight upsets.

Both for 1u...for now

Also on WVU early, don't know for how much yet.

Good Luck!

I like WVUPitt +6 is probably the best number you'll see so that's not a bad bet but I'm on the other side of that too with gtown -5

I like G'town as well, had to buy it down, though.

WVU ML and G'town/5 (-120) for 1u, which probably means I'll be increasing the plays on Bucknell and LIU.

Good Luck!

The Pens are starting Brad Thiessen tonight. Over looks good to me.

But I'm ice cold lately so be wary.

Sabres haven't announced their starter yet. I expect to see Enroth tonight to give Miller a much needed rest. This is the easier matchup and then they can use Miller tomorrow in Boston and again on Saturday vs Ottawa.

EDIT: I guess Ruff announced that Miller is starting tonight. Cam Ward faced 49 shots in an OT win last night. Must win for Buffalo.

Love the over in that Pens/Leafs game..even before Thiessen was announced, lol. If Enroth starts for the Sabres that over has some value at +115 right now.

Under 131.5 in the WVU game is what I took
UNDER!~~!@~what is this world coming to? ;)
I have been betting a lot of unders lately....not sure whyThey just seem juicier....144 in a UCONN game yesterday..missed that one, just seemed high. Then I had under in the Providence/Seton Hall game 137....That is way high imo
once the tourney starts, unders all the way baybay. Never have noticed if the scores dip in the conf tournaments though.

Yeah, a lot of teams playing do or die games. Big difference between not being to play defense and not wanting to in the regular season.

This might be the best workday gambling week of the year....baseball games all day and conference tourneys all day
Did you see my question about the 5 cent baseball lines? I don't know much about MLB but my friend who I respect as a bettor (your knowledge/wager level) said evo has 10 cent lines

today's lines:Colorado +115SF Giants -125Mariners +120LA Angels -130looks like 5 cent vig on either side but 10 cent spread. probably just a difference in terminology?

I watched a 44-44 go to OT last night and I was fully prepared for it to go to double OT 44-44

I'd guess, I've heard both, in my original post I said 5c line(10c spread) to cover both bases, either way it's an awesome sign for baseball season if they're dealing that type of line for exhibition baseball

gtown -5.5

adding:

MLB: COL +115

NBA: Clippers -7 : NJ looks lost without Lopez again. Granted he was only back for 5 games, but I think NJ is already thinking about the Howard sweepstakes.
