FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

it's more than i would like to give, but 76'ers should light up the tired Celtics tonightSixers -72nd half line might be real good too if the first half is closeETA: F WVU. I ended up entering the bet in twice, so double F WVU
Sixers are messing up some beauty bets i was hoping to catch on the upcoming quarters and 2nd half. 33-17 after the 1st Q, hoping some Boston fans come in and try to take advantage and some nice lines can still come in :kicksrock:
This isn't a great bet, but i am pissed at myself for not betting more on the original bet:Sixers +3.5 2nd half. They are up right now 55-33, and look good. My guess is Boston realizes they lose this game, and they give up in the 2nd half.

God dammit all I want is just one ####### easy hockey win! Is that too much to ask? The only easy ones I ever have are 2-1 unders and unders are stressful for at least 57 minutes, or in the case of the Caps/Jets, 59 minutes until a bouncing puck from the redline gets by Vokoun. I have a winning record but geez this has been tougher than past years. Think I'll take the weekend off and just bet some college hoops totals, much more fun at this juncture.

Thanks for listening/feeling my pain. :bye:

Good god, the flopping from 3-point shooters trying to draw a foul is worse than soccer floppers now. At least in soccer they are usually running. These guys jump up. Then fall down on their backs. :lmao: Even when they are touched, it's on the hands or arm. Funny how that takes your legs out.

ETA: Thanks Reggie Miller.

:goodposting: I hit the Penguins ML last night, thinking they would not have a down game here against Toronto. I hate playing those big favorites too that are over -200, but i thought this one looked like a lock. Way to start the game 0-2 jerkoffs

Lehigh+4.5. You're welcome

ETA: It's now 4.5. I'm in at 4 and 4.5.
Why am I blindly betting Lehigh here?
DD, have a quick look at my earlier post a page ago where I originally write up this game early this AM.
Ok well I don't like people being at odds over a game like this, count me out.Let's try to go to the LIU well again though. :banned:
BLACKBRIDS! Quack, Quack, Quack! :banned: :banned: :banned:

The Pens are starting Brad Thiessen tonight. Over looks good to me.But I'm ice cold lately so be wary.Sabres haven't announced their starter yet. I expect to see Enroth tonight to give Miller a much needed rest. This is the easier matchup and then they can use Miller tomorrow in Boston and again on Saturday vs Ottawa.EDIT: I guess Ruff announced that Miller is starting tonight. Cam Ward faced 49 shots in an OT win last night. Must win for Buffalo.
Whew, Buffalo certainly made anybody backing them tonight sweat it out.

I have PL and over, I need another goal. :scared:

DD, watched Hawaii of late and they seem to have packed it in. Can't even hold court on the rock these days. Idaho blew em out in Hawaii 6 days ago. And they just lost senior G, UofA transfer Zane Johnson, their all-time 3's leader who was diagnosed with mono, finally -- didn't get on the plane. He'd been under the weather so maybe that was part of their decline. Averages 14ppg, tied for lead. I don't know, two teams pretty clearly going in opposite directions. I know, I know, in the line, laying the wood, but I would not feel confident at all with money on falling Hawaii right now. Now they travel to the mainland, without maybe their best player and captain, to play a team that just waxed them WITH Johnson (who had 18).

Filling in at guard will be nothing but frosh/sophs. Oh, and they get to tip things off at 10 AM (their time)...they'll be fired up for that.

Toronto on a bit of an onslaught right now but Theissen looked strong. Gotta hang on. Pens aren't real great with empty netters IF it comes down to that. They'll **** around with trying to get Dupuis the hat trick and not score. Hope they prove me wrong for your sake.

:goodposting: I watched that game against Idaho too, and it was horrendous. I didn't see the line for it, but betting against hawaii is a good idea.

Yeah, they must have got yelled out a bit during the 2nd intermission. Unfortunately i have the PL and over 5.5 like DD has, so really hoping for another goal to make me be a Penguins fan for the night

Really getting tired of this, Pens had several empty net opportunities.

We'll have to try it again some other time. I would have only been able to wear the jersey if it would have been a Jagr, Tochett, LeClair, or Recchi Penguins jersey, not sure who else i could go for. I guess Talbot could work too, maybe even Ulf Samuelson

What do you all look at when capping NBA props? I just started and have had some decent success so far, but interested to hear some further insight. TIA.
I rarely play them, only if something really stands out. I know when i look at the SOG props on hockey, i try to look at everything, records for home and away, coaching styles, how do teams play with a lead, etc. Even down to who the refs are if i can to see the likelihood of more penalties being called or not. Haven't put nearly the work in for those, but i imagine with NBA it would be something similar. I think one of the biggest variables with the NBA this season is looking at schedules ahead and who they recently played. A lot of tams are emphasizing rest for their guys, so looking into some of that would be a big help. I know some teams admit to having to take nights off, like the mother f'n spurs that can't cover 25 point deficit in the 2nd half to the T-blazers.

Just email GR and forget about it. Well worth not having to crunch any numbers on the NBA stuff. I have such little interest in the NBA I couldn't imagine trying to cap anything for those crap games. just my 2 cents :)

Nova has made three straight shots! That's five total for the game!

South Florida had a 15 minute stretch in this game where the got one FG, and they are still dominating. :lmao:
