Lot of sharps are thinking the 7 1/2 is an overreaction to Penn State's impressive win over Navy this last weekend. Remember Temple was a 10 point favorite over Maryland the week before. That being said, I think O'Brien is a good coach and I think the line represents fair value. I don't have a lean either way. Navy is terrible.

I played Carolina at +1.5 and I'd probably still play them at -2.5 but I see bookmaker has moved to 3, it's no play at 3. Good spot for carolina playing at home, giants have a short week and nicks/bradshaw/hixon all won't play along with a handful of other players listed as questionable on the defense which has been awful. Hard to get the new players up to speed with the 1st team with only a few days of practice.ETA: one other note, giants have that awesome front 4 that always causes problems but newton is the perfect quarterback to defeat that, size and speed.

That's funny, I just posted the home team stats ATS in the FFF. Home dogs are 6-3 ATS so far this year, 4-1 last week. No doubt in my mind that the scab officials are feeling the heat from the home crowd and coaches. Players, mainly QB's, are asking for flags and getting them when the play is over or almost over. Meaning it's a big spread between what you can buy Obama and Mitt for. 400-300 - 100 or $1. If it was Obama -120 and Mitt was +110 it would be a .10 line 120-110 = 10 or .10. if that makes sense.

I think BYU is a good team, but I think they are siginificantly better at home. I like boise tonight and the under if I had to play the total.BYU's best offense is the no huddle, but they go away from it every game for some reason. I think the home field advantage for Boise @night is a big deal. I think they win by more than a TD. I will say 27-13 or something...

Not true my freind. It opened at 7.5 and sat there all week till last night when it crossed 7 with a quickness. I think this will be a close game as I think both teams are equal. I really like byu plus 7.5. 6.5 I still like byu but I think it's a fair line. I can endorse teasing down Boise to .5.
