FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Orioles +110 1 unit

Lester is 4-6 with a 5.64 ERA in 12 starts since the All-Star break and he is 3-8 with a 6.51 ERA in 16 home starts in 2012.

Orioles are 3-0 vs. Red Sox last 3 games Lester has started.

The Orioles are 8-4 this year vs. the Sox.

They are 5-1 this year at Fenway Park and 7-1 in their last eight games there.

They are 13-6 in their last 19 games vs. Boston

RB Centarius Donald is listed as OUT for ULM

ETA: Donald hurt his knee in the Arkansas game. And ULM was without him last week vs Auburn... Coach already said that he would be out two weeks, so I don't know if his injury was already built into the line, or if that announcement today is what caused it to move (9½ now)...

I'm sticking to my guns. :football:

Take FAU against Bama this weekend
How about now?
FAU defensive lineman Cory Henry:

Alabama ain't what people think. They good and everything, but they can be beat too. They just execute well. They just execute and beat you. We got speed against them. You got speed... you can win.
Bama 77-0
This week, he's summoned up Peyton Manning and Michael Jordan as examples of constantly striving competitors.

Saban's message to his players two weeks ago still lingers freshly in their memories. Linebacker C.J. Mosley said the team talked about that the day after dismantling Arkansas 52-0.

''We got together and said we've got to have a better week,'' Mosley said. ''We have to improve and bring the momentum from last week to this week's game.''

7 point teaser:

09/23/12Vikings (Minnesota)+1413:05 ET(-105)09/23/12Cardinals (Arizona)+10.516:10 ET(-115)
SF did not win on the road last year by 14 points and the Vikings are good enough to hang in the game. The Eagles and Cardinals are evenly matched IMO, not sure the Eagles should be favored on the road.

From Colin Cowherd:

Colin's Blazing Five

Buccaneers at Cowboys (-7.5)

Eagles at Cardinals (+3.5)

Bengals (+3) at Redskins

49ers at Vikings (+7)

Jets (-2.5) at Dolphins

Thanks GM!

Edit for formatting and to say I do like MIN here, but the rest I am

Love the Cards and Bengals. Jet's a little less love, but have played. Will ML Parlay Cards/Bengals.

I won't bet on the Cowboys again this year. I will, however, pick and choose spots to bet against.

ULM +8.5 on SB right now. Total 70. Thoughts?

This game is getting pounded in both directions.

I'm torn. Logic says ULM can hang with very good teams because of the first two weeks. That said Baylor should have "tallent" to beat them by 2 TD's.

Dear Mr. Lumpy,

First off, how are you.

Second, how are you handling teasers this weekend? Lots of 3/7 lines.

tia,

Wow - great work ESPN!

Baylor scored a TD in .000000000000000000001 seconds and ESPN couldnt get back from comercial fast enough.

Might have taken Baylor -4 due to the momentum at the end there just to be safe and hope for a push, but with ULM not kicking any field goals I don't see that bet pushing.

Riding out the original ULM plays.

I bought out of my original +7.5 and live +3.5 on ULM with a live baylor +1.5. My live under bet is TOAST.I took a token .25 unit on Baylor first score.Love Fla State tomorrow despite what some of you wrote above..... well until Dr Lou said he "likes Fla St......... BIG."

Question for... anyone. I know Ref and Tiger are up on this stuff.

I'm done renting. Tired of throwing over a grand a month down the toilet. Wondering if I should be looking at a single-family home or a condo? Assume everything is fairly equal. Purchase price, living space, both in decent neighborhoods, etc. I'm single and I'm going to stay that way, so a small place is perfect for me. Also, I'm handy, so I don't mind doing my own repairs, yard work and all of that stuff. I also have a gym nearby. So I can't think of one good reason to pay monthly condo fees. Am I on the right track here?

I say yes. Condos = bad, your house = good. In all honesty, it all depends on your neighborhood tendencies and such, but i would rather get a single family home than a condo any day

Thanks mo. Definitely the way I'm leaning. I'm bunking with a buddy of mine temporarily now, and if I can hold off until next summer or so, I'll be able to put a nice chunk down so that my mortgage is very low.

#### condos. Not private enough - for me anyway.I'm renting a house next - not buying because I move too much, but I just can't stand having neighbors all up in my #### non stop.

I can use my fancy pants finance degree and make a case that you are better off not owning a home and taking the extra money you save by renting every month and the down payment and investing it in a mutual fund of porn sites, @n@l lube stores, and gold. But the fact of the matter is for 95% of the population if you can get the loan and pay it off with in 10 years you can't go wrong. If you can't pay off the balance in 10 years or so the arguement for renting becomes more compelling.Condo/Townhouse/SFH all have pros and cons. Depending on your area it still may be way more cost effective to pay some condo fees then pay the larger taxes on a SFH and hey you get some perks for the expense. You got any questions let me know.

Agree completely with the first part of that statement having gone both routes during different parts of my life. The taxes on a SFH are tax deductible - and the taxes are not going to be any more on the SFH than the condo unless we are assuming the SFH costs more. Of course, I also know nothing about RI property taxes..In either case, think about what repairs might be in the not too distant future as you don't want to buy into a condo association and then find out that an assessment is coming down the road for major repairs. G'luck and I'd be happy to answer questions as well.

"The NCAA is investingating St Mary's for recruiting violations"

Really? Matt Barkley is going to have to take a pay cut to play for the Dolphins next year and they best they can come up with is St Mary's?
