FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (11 Viewers)

Giants TD here will be money
Well done. Helping me overcome some modest Ryder Cup losses. Was looking at Euro's to win last night at 7/1 too but thought it had slim and none chance.Carryover teaser starting with Bears/cowboys game tomorrow night 1/2 unit to win 300.Bears +9.5. They do enough to keep this competitive to the end.Bears/cowboys over 35.5. Big plays should make this happen even with 2 good defenses. 49ers -3 over the Bills. Homecoming game and they shouldn't be overlooking.Ravens +1.5 @ K.C. Better team (much) with extra time to prepare. crossin zero, don't care.Packer -.5 @ Indy. The bears kicked the crud out of indy. Packers beat bears. Packers win easy.Patriots -.5 over Denver. broncs not the same on the road as at home. Patriots finding form, no upset here.

No TD here Eagles!!!!
Right there with ya but GM needs the win. Let's go turnover!
in full disclosure, I took Eagles Alt line +3.5 -190 at kickoff, but only for $100...enough winnings to cover original parlay + money dumped on Tampa. Not a true hedge. Also sitting on Over 35.5 -130 from live betting. FG would be cool...then let Manning come back to win it with Tynes. :excited:
Lol...I would take that too. I have alt line gmen - 3.5 +150. Go Eli!!

This could happen :excited:

The pi call on Barden screwed GM. Those with +2.5 get a lucky win.
That was a silly play call by the Giants. Why go deep there? Throw a quick sideline route or run it again. You had the FG from there. A PI backs you up a mile.God, that second kick by Tynes was right down the middle...it was SO CLOSE! Ugh.

:goodposting: i don't know why the Giants did that either. It can argued back and forth, but Coughlin needs to be asked why he would do that

Of course the little money I had on the giants I pushed the button at +2 and got the "odds changed" sign from sportsbook. I figured whats the chances that little half point would matter.....

The whole 0-4 Braden went on the last drive drove me crazy considering I had him > 2.5 rec.

All and all not a bad weekend though!

I've watched the movie Rounders countless times, and I still love it, but man the poker stuff does not hold up well over time. 20xbb raise with KK on the button heads-up? Four-betting Johnny Chan and getting him to lay down his hand when you're only playing 10bb deep? :lmao:

But I'll bet Teddy won't be eating Oreos on the felt anytime soon.

That movie does make me hungry for some Oreos. I used to eat Oreos!Pulling the trigger early on a 6 point 3-teamer:Rams +8Packers -1Texans -1.5

Was a 5 bet IIRC. Probably only 7-8bb deep after folding for an hour.

I like the play call, too many teams settle and are happy with the FG attempt, go for the TD, can't remember the last time I saw OFFENSIVE PI called but jesus he really mugged him. With that said I lost a significant amount of money because of that PI call. I can't remember the last time I couldn't sleep because of the outcome of a game but last night was one of them. :X

####ty game to bet tonight.

7 point tease:

Bears +10 1/2

Under 48 1/2

Didn't have a very good NFL weekend, fade accordingly.

2012 NFL

16-14 -3.7 units

I am not a huge money guy but I had a $100 6pt 6 team teaser (Atl -1.5, Sea +9, Den -1, Arz pk, Skins +7.5, GB -1.5) and can't believe .5pt cost me $800...oh well such is life.

Over 5 sacks tonight -160. Unless the beears OL have made drastic changes with blocking strategy/scheme, they might give that up themselves. bears D should be good for 2-3. Defensive team/Special team score YES +145. Lower number than usual, but Cutler is good on average for a pick 6 every other game. Bears D seems to get one every couple of games. Hester is due and is good on national games usually. Good enough for a small play for me.

Edit: Will cutler throw a pick -240 almost a guaranteed thing. Wish they had a will he throw 2 picks prop.

I could see it sitting at three until kickoff. I've said it before tongue-in-cheek that all the "rich folks in Dallas" will always flood the market when they get off work later. But there are a bunch of ATS trends that were printed in the NY Post that really favor the Bears in this one. Against the spread, Dallas is:

0-6 in games where the line is +3 to -3 over the last 2 seasons.

4-17 as a favorite over the last 3 seasons.

3-11 against conference opponents over the last 2 seasons.

Under Lovie Smith, Chicago has won five of the last six MNF games SU and is 7-2 overall.

Dallas is 1-6 ATS in their last seven MNF games.

A&M hits the road for the first time versus the SEC this weekend. It will be redshirt freshman Johnny Manziel's first road start versus a conference opponent. We all saw what Nunes looked like in the same situation last week. And Mississippi is getting 11½ points at home versus them.

based on the fade LHUCKS system, Bears should be lock city tonight.

those trends look good too.

Chicago +3 at even money looks pretty good right now. I usually fade the Cowboys but I wanted to take the rare opportunity to make my homer pick versus probably the only team and QB that has frustrated me more than the 'Boys have. I guess I'll just wait, but damn I almost pulled the trigger on that just now.

ETA: CHICAGO BEARS +3 Even

Taking the Bears +3 even

already booked for next week with winnings from yesterday - I think they may be too "square", but I like em' anyway:

ATL -3 (RGIII looks really good, but I think ATL has a whole lot more Defense than Wash - I wonder how Washington is going to slow down ATL next weekend)

Balt -4.5 ( KC is truly a mess and Baltimore gets 10 days to rest)

@JayGlazer

Sources tell me barring a freak setback Matt Forte is healthy and set to play tonight. He's telling teammates he will be active, good to go!

10:03 AM - 1 Oct 12

‏@JayGlazer

And for those asking plan is for Forte to start. Teammates say he's had a great week of work

12:26 PM - 1 Oct 12

TAMU should win easily IMO. Look what Texas did to Ole Miss, not sure Texas is better than TAMU.

7 point teaser:

Texans -2

Texans/Jets O33.5 (I think the Texans can score this by themselves)

49ers -2.5 vs. Bills

Here's why I won't touch the game tonight - two good defenses and two under-performing offenses. As bad as Cutler has looked, he's streaky and the Bears have a lot of weapons. I expect the Cowboys to win but it's not worth putting money on.

Nothing more boring then betting an under on MNF, but that's where I'm at. Got two units worth of winning tied to under 48 (teased).

Saw this tidbit elsewhere....Last week was the first game this year that the Dallas defense has given up a 1h TD....including pre-season. They are now 3-0 to the 1h under. Chicago is 2-1 to the under. Their only 1h offensive explosion was against the Colts in their first game.

Playing to make a unit on each...

1h Under 21 - 120

1Q Under 7.5 - 140

ugh, good luck to you bud. i think most of us have been there before (i.e. the not sleeping thing), so not that it makes it any better, but it is nice knowing others have felt that pain before. good luck bouncing back tonight, i'll be paying attn. to live betting and grab something if somebody shoots out to a big lead

Just added Bears +150 at RB.

Also, since we need more stats on this, Dallas is 3-12 ATS in their home games the past three seasons.

A. Jeffries ov 45.5 yards. Earl Bennett is inactive, i think Marshall gets doubled, so hopefully jeffries has over 45 yards in him
