Alright, What sides you thinking bud. I am in need of a helping hand. I am in a contest where i have to take 5 sides a week, grand prize is good money for me. I a 1.5 games out of first, so any and all help is welcome. I know CFB has claimed the day, but any and all help with sides this week would be peachy. I have to get the picks to the guy by 1:00 a.m. tonight, and am still going back and forth on some. i think right now I like Pitt -6, STL -3, and KC -4. I am guessing that STL will be the "square" play of the week, and am leary of it because SEA should play their absolute best this game and are at home. I love Dallas +11.5, but Dallas has lost for me the last 4 or 5 weeks straight (either betting on them or against them).

True line is +3 and your getting 11.5. No brainer.

I have to agree, but I have lost because of Dallas 5 weeks in a row (took the Saints and Eagles, and bet Dallas against the Redskins and Dallas against Cards). But it seems SO obvious...i think the other lines are close, and i will check to see if there are any other big movers

What's the vig on the +3?I would take what you want to profit here and just play the +130. This is Charlie Whitehurst we're talking about here - don't mess with +3 -120/125.

I wouldn't hedge. You can't lose your 30 units, worst case you break even. It may be wrong but I'm of the opinion to get ahead in this game you need to take shots every once in a while, you're in a great spot here.If 30 units changes your life then I'd find the cheapest place to play SEA +3.5 and put 15u on that and hope STL wins by 1-2-3

Chances are 30u isn't going to change your life....have some fun, it's the sunday night game, get liquored up all day and enjoy.

I have been and it's one of the best shows I've watched period (not just because I am a Pens fan, I enjoy the Caps segments as much). I love hockey and think it is an underrated sport. Hopefully lots of people are watching. I think no matter what happens on the ice, most hockey players are good-natured, fun dudes. The show really brings that out.

Yeah, I like the behind-the-scenes stuff...the good and the bad. The banter and pranks are awesome. Watching Boudreau pace in and out of the locker room ready to explode is great. You're correct....I should have said they're locked into a 1st rd home game, they can't improve that or do worse. From the articles I read I get the impression the starters will start the game play for maybe the 1st half(if that) and then focus on being healthy for the playoff game the next week.

Still think this is a good play, but the Steelers have a lot to play for. A win is the difference between a #2 seed, first round bye (to rest ailing guys like Polamalu, Ben, and Aaron Smith), and at least one home game or a #5 seed. They will go all out.
