It initially led to a few Pitt turnovers and, then perhaps more importantly, it resulted in a decrease in pass attempts per possession for Pitt; which bogged down their offense. If not for a few very long threes, we'd have a tie game at the half.

this is an exception for me. In this situation -3 -130 is the same as -3.5 +100 i'm basically going across both 3's with a 2 team -110 teaser.if i recall the last time we discussed this you were teasing a -5 to a +1 which captures ONLY one 3

probably, it depends on what other lines were available, i'd need at least 2 lines at -3 -125, prefer -130 which is about as far as the books go before moving it to -3.5. I'd probably pass during the reg season if the totals were 47+ I haven't run any data on whether this is profitable or not, just trying to use common sense to take advantage of the books holding the 3one other thing, 5dimes having -110 on this and not protecting against the teaser was pretty shocking.looks like everyone is at 3.5 now, prob best to tease the dog to 10.5 with a 2 team 7 pointer

I don't know the entire season, but I do know they deferred in November vs. Cincy and in December vs. Baltimore and the NY Jets. They also deferred on Saturday against Baltimore. If they win the toss against the Jets on Sunday, I would expect them to defer and let the defense set the tone. Unless Tomlin goes against the grain, which is possible...

1. I have a phantom bankwire from sportsbook.com, they sent it back on jan 5th, still nothing in my bank acct. They're usually so fast. They're currently looking into it. Anyone have something like this before?
2. usemywallet is awesome. Huge transfer limits and no fees. sportsbook.com to usemywallet(no fee) usemywallet to betonline or carib again no fee. from betonline book2book transfers to all the big boys with no fees. It almost feels like neteller is back. this is really exciting for me, funding is always a pain in the ###

Seems like that is more & more the NFL trend. I swear years ago hardly anyone deferred, winning the toss always seemed to put the offense on the field first.

I'd agree but remember the rule changed a few years ago. Years ago if you deferred you couldn't take the ball in the 2h. It would be an interesting study to see if there was any advantage to taking the ball in the 1h or 2nd. If my team lacked a decent qb and couldn't throw the ball very well I would probably take the ball first in fear of going behind early.

I used to always want the Steelers to have the ball first because I enjoy offense more than defense. However, I have changed my mind and would rather have the ball to start the second half. If you are down (like last weekend), you get a chance to strike first. If you are up, you can eat a ton of clock and keep the opposing offense off the field.

I think a big reason that a lot of teams are deferring now, is that they want to avoid the opponent closing the first half with a score, and then getting the second half kickoff and scoring.

Anybody know anything about sportsbook.com's mobile app? I just got transferred over there with the Brobury closing, and it looks like they offer the same mobile app that brobury did which was really convenient and easy to use, but I can't login to it (although I can login to the site fine).
I did their live chat to get help, and the help person just kept telling me that their only mobile betting was mobile.sportsbook.com and didn't seem to be aware of an app even though you can download it right from that site and there references to it all over their own help pages. She then told me that they don't use it anymore.
So my question is, "does anybody use sportsbook.com's mobile app, and does it still work for you?"
