We should get good "value" on no safety with this years game. I'd guess a -800 seems pretty good, I bet it last year at that number and wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up with the safety occurring yesterday in the game. I know not everyone likes these bets but I don't mind some of them. I will not play no overtime.

I just hope we get the props like:

will there be an onsides kick

will each team lead by X amount

Stuff like that. Nothing was posted like that last year.

I think we should be betting No def/ST td. First, we get value since both teams scored one in the divisional game. Secondly, neither team has scored very many of given up many this year. Hoping for -150 or so.

Don't know, but it is possible...people who I thought didn't even know what a football looked like came out by the droves. By 10:00 a.m., I was tired of hearing about the game. One guy came in and told me that Big Ben should have been benched. Another said that Ike Taylor is the worst CB in the NFL. The best was the person who said that Mularkey should have been fired after the game.

Sorry man, stupid random bet trying to get some entertainment. It is kind of laughable, least we're out of misery early. It's rare that he is ever on the othe side of a line moving, and he gets in early every day.

It doesn't take much to move those lines if they're props on sportsbook, a $100 bet will move a line

I like the Hall to keep it semi close. Taking a chance with Purdue +7 and ML. Richmond +3 and ML. Drake +9 and ML. Missouri state is clearly the better team here but Drake took em down both times last yr at home. Mama said Donk you out parlay. flyers, penguins, hawks. 1.5 unit to win 3.6. Also trying a couple of sleepy dogs SU. Panthers +115 and Maple Leafs +175.

Thats funny. I try to never bet against the blackhawks but sometimes the spidey senses tell me I have too. I have no problem fading the Bulls, Bears, Whitesox when the matchups are right. I think the hawks skate well tonight.

Anyone ever chase steam by using a local who doesn't react as quickly to the line movement? I have heard mention of that before but never really tried it out in practice. I suppose it is less handicapping and more line shopping/timing.

Testing it out today, locked in...

Towson +19.5

Oklahoma State +5.5

St Josephs +4

George Washington +13.5

All 4 of those lines were still active at pinnacle until around 9:30 Eastern, but Pinnacle was adjusting from -105 to -110 and up to -119 on some of them. Local book doesn't keep up with those vig adjustments and just focuses on the point spreads. All 4 of them have recently started moving by at least a half point towards the favorites. Curious if anyone has had any success trying this in the past? Basically trying to get ahead of line movement with slower books so your bets are always getting an extra .5 or point more than the closing line. Seems like that slight advantage could add up over time.
