I'd love to know their reasoning. They've gone this far, why stop taking new people now... and why let existing customers continue to play on the site? Is this some wacky, last ditch effort to say they acted in good faith for when licensing time comes? Or have they already made a deal with the DOJ to turn over information on existing customers? The latter seems like but this decision makes almost no sense to me.

The DOJ doesn't care about your taxes or player lists, put that tinfoil hat away. They care about money laundering and other major crimes. No player has ever been convicted of placing bets, the government doesn't care about that(reference the DOJ coming out in the recent poker seizure and making a deal to get all the players paid)

I read this on another forum. Who knows if there's any truth to it but it's as good a reason as any I suppose.

Could be a temporary move - word is they were getting too many new depositors a day and exceeded their limits at the processors they use. Could be a while before they get things settled down and are able to process new deposits.

Pinny has US customers, the bigger players are all still there.I think they bailed from the US market because they didn't want to pick a fight with the US government. I try and keep up with everything that's going on but it's really just my opinion based on the reading I do at other forums. Someone mentioned that Pinnacle got mentioned in an episode of the Sopranos, I don't think Pinny wants that kind of publicity. I also remember reading that pinnacle owners are US based and they wanted to stay in this country.

They're paid but they're also complicated. You ever been audited? I've heard horror stories from guys who kept in their mind immaculate records and never cashed a check from an online sportsbook. We have no idea what the behind the scene dealing is with these poker sites. You have governmental agencies OK'ing processors to facilitate cashouts. I'm not saying the sky is falling but with what's going on right now i think it'd be naive to not be a little bit concerned, especially if you have a decent chunk of change online.

Are Ayers and Reed 1st round picks? Borderline at best, no? I've seen Reed in the bottom of round 2 in places. I think if Ayers goes it's in those last 3 first round picks. Less juice though. I think I like the over Big 12 prop better if I'm going the conference route. Just seems like a lot of spots for those 2 qb's to go and if Locker goes 12 or higher can't see Dalton making it out of round 1. Then you still have 3 other guys who could go if someone has their heart set in Ponder, Mallet and Kaepernick. I doubt those last 2 guys are first rounders but would it be a shock?

yeah i hopped on for a bit, and that line moves real fast. I was able to get Gabbert at 7th for -250, minute and half later it is - 1000. either some big boys in here betting (maybe my $35 bet moved the line ), or they are super senstive to any bets. Would seem like a good spot to catch them in a mistake if possible.

Thumbs up - I read this and put a bunch on -2.5, -1.5, and ML.Made up for my craptastic draft bets.

Lester is now 13-0 vs the Orioles and Boston rarely has a full series without an offensive breakout. Plus their guy was 0-3.. just one of those "feel" things as someone who watches 100-120 Red Sox games a year.
