Early Week 3 Leans
Pats -9.5 at Buffalo, 2 units (the Pats murdered them in Buffalo last year and they are more or less unstoppable right now)
Packers -3.5 at Chicago, 1 unit (Bears play the Packers very tough, but I'll take the better team)
Lions -3.5 at Vikings, 4 units (The Vikings passing offense is sputtering so if they get behind they'll be in trouble)
Panthers -3 vs. JAX, 4 units (Jax will be starting Gabbert....I'll go with the home team and King Newton, Panthers have a lot of confidence despite record and had a shot at the Champs today)
Tennessee -6 vs. Broncos, 4 units (they surprised the Ravens, Britt can't be defended and defense is much improved, Broncos struggling)

colts push, which moved all the 3 teamers with them involved down to 2 teamers so -110 instead of +180 and miami lost(thanks for the missed FG's)7/8 last week8/9 this weekI like the giants tonight so i might have to cross week tease this week. Sportsbook. This past week I had bought the bears +8 and vikings -1. Line movements went in my favor (bears +6.5 and vikes moved some i think) but both were losers. They won't let you tease however, sort of a bummer.'lumpy19 said:

do the rams have ANY sort of pass rush? didn't see the game week one, but it doesn't look like it.

Hard to tell because they were facing Mike Vick and whenever they collapsed the pocket, he escaped and scampered for yards. I want to say he had close to 100 yards rushing; the bulk of which came on non-designed QB runs. They did have one nice safety/CB blitz that I recall, but their pass rush was negated by Vick.

These are interesting plays as well. If you have a feel or preconceived idea that a team is going to surprise/dissappoint throughought the year, you can definetly get some value. Too bad FIU isn't in any "games of the yr". ML Monsters.

yeah, that blows. Well, here we go for a small amount:STL -15 +775will be a nice if it hits, but i'm thinking like $20 on it or something. NYG DL should have their ears pinned back and rushing the hell out of Bradford in the 2nd half with the Giants up so muchETA: +875, had to take it for $25. tempted to put a little more on it, though it is a bad bet

Any feel on the Texans-Saints game? I love getting Saints at home for anything less than a TD. Texans-Dolphins game was a lot closer than appeared and a road win is a road win but the Dolphins record at home is like 1-9 last ten games. I think this game will show whether Texans are for real or yet again a year away, based on history I'm going to go with the second option. Falcons and Bucs both won last week and the Panthers look like a threat this year so I can't see Saints dropping this game. If this was in Houston another story but I think Saints win this one comfortably.

I agree with you that this is the week for Houston to make a real statement to the league. Beating any NFL team by double digits is impressive but eh the Manning-less Colts and Chad Henne has not impressed me yet. Tate has been awesome so far though, that running system the Texans have is sick but I just think defense isn't good enough to slow down the Saints at home. We'll see. Should be a good game regardless.

Dum Dum SaladINGREDIENTS
8 oz. cool whip
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 can strawberry or cherry pie filling
1 cup chopped nuts
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
DIRECTIONS
Mix the Eagle Brand milk and Cool whip until blended.
Drain the pineapple and mix in gently.
Fold in the pie filling and nuts.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
