FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (10 Viewers)

Tyson Griffin missed weight for his fight with Brad Palaszewski tomorrow night. Brad was a big underdog. You can get him by T(KO) for +1000 right now. Good way to make some money, this line will cut in half by fight time.

Yeah, but because Nolan Ryan is the only man in America taking the Rangers, that line has gotta be outta whack (although I haven't even checked it yet). If I didn't have a redbird bet on the series already, I'd be taking the Rangers on value alone.I never completely understand the momentum thing in baseball. This is not a contact sport where guys can absolutely will themselves to victory. The other 3 major sports, sure, but baseball??? If one player, the pitcher, has a great game, I don't care how fired up Rafael Furcal is, it's not gonna matter. Yeah, I saw the interviews in the Rangers locker room after, they look beaten. But today's a new day and it won't take much for them to turn it around. Again, if one player's arm (Carp) doesn't hold up, those guys will hit him and whoever else is left out there....whatever "mood" they're in.I don't know, it just cracks me up every time I hear the pundits exclaim how the Rangers are done, totally writing them off. It's all I heard. Now, I'll concede there is absolutely an advantage here -- not saying that -- I just think it's way overblown.Obviously hope I'm wrong, btw, and the Rangers do in fact lay down, but I really doubt it.
I'm not saying it's imposible for the Rangers to win. But the last away team to win a game 7 was back in 1979. Even if Texas wins St Louis is the right bet.

So your argument rests in an 8 game sample size? Flawed to me. And yes I bet the Cardinals.

It's Bart, I don't know why I keep calling him Brad.Line is down to +850, I'm waiting for it to drop again so I can max it again.

Willl this pay if he misses weight?

Yes, fight is on as a catchweight.

I grabbed BYU for a little at +19 during live betting. I'm regretting not jumping on TCU -10.5 last commercial break to middle it.

Afternoon, gents. Anybody got a strong BYU/TCU lean? I got nothin'.
Over. How are either of these teams going to slow down the other. TCU seems to thrive in shootouts.
I take this great advice... start drinking early on a Friday... get all greedy and shit, and end up parlaying it BIG with TCU. Everything looks great early. Frogs up 14-0 before I even sit down. SHOCKINGLY, it all goes into the shitter in no time flat. I'm just hoping for a decent TCU halftime lead so I can hedge out of these bums in the 2H. :wall:

Um, no. And I don't really like your stats either, sorry. Nice sample. I mean, I know they have merit but going on stuff that has little to do with the players that are actually playing tonight, well, it's easy to dismiss...for me anyway. Funny part of all this is I need the Cards bad, haha.

Well regardless I just bought out my bet at +190. I'm now freerolling for a $60 win.

Hedged with BYU +4 (-105) 2H.

Feel good about this, and have a shot at winning everything if BYU wins the 2H by no more than 4 or doesn't lose by more than 4.

Giddy up! :football:

:hifive:I'm with you, got it 4 1/2. Hedging half my play (1 unit). Nice to have 14 - 21+ on our side. BYU should keep coming too, they're disciplined enough to not throw in the towel. I HOPE.Beer 3, just getting goin. :banned:

I'm 99% sure I'll be in Vegas for Super Bowl week. Buddy works for Southwest... we get dirt cheap flights.

Any of you degenerates gonna be there?

I know, I knew was gonna. Looked at it more and BYU had actually outgained em, had those 2 turnovers, and were getting the ball to start. That late blown-coverage TD made this perfect storm possible. I REALLY want this.

Beer 4.
