Likely will play Over as well - special teams, defensive tds may open this one up.

Love Wisconsin and Bama...I disagree that Bielema is a great coach, but I do love Wiscy.Have you seen Va Tech's schedule? Their best win was Ga Tech....who was overrated at best because of their 5-0 start. Just sayin.

Oregon St -3.5 - I am a big Stanford/Luck fan but my oh my what a performance against OU. Not only was their offense good, but they held OU to 3 pts. Luck is very good but his supporting cast is not.

Notre Dame +3 vs Florida State - ND playing very well down the stretch, I'll take the 3 pts here.

I was looking at this game yesterday. Don't wait for 7 IMO. I don't have data to back it up and I'm not sure if it's even available because of the super small sample size but with this oregon team and their tendency to go for 2 I'd guess that the 7 isn't nearly as important as other games. Obviously 1/2 better is a 1/2 pt better but I doubt we see 7 on this.

Personally, I think it's dumb to bet big money line favorites in any nfl game. Any given Sunday and all that. I'm from the school of thought that if you're looking at playing a big money line in an nfl game, your only possible play is the underdog.If they played this game 100 times, Cleveland wins more than 10 imo.

Personally, I think it's dumb to bet big money line favorites in any nfl game. Any given Sunday and all that. I'm from the school of thought that if you're looking at playing a big money line in an nfl game, your only possible play is the underdog.

Hey Manley, were you the dude that called the Eagles total wins UNDER for the season? I know it was a Skins fan. I looked for the thread because I wanted to bump that post. Whoever posted that was spot on. It went into some detail about their line issues and how there was no way they'd be able gel and stuff. Everybody was high on the dream team and you weren't having it. Nice job, if it was you. If it wasn't you, then suck it.

 
Hey Fellas - Im an online gambling virgin and know very little about the whole thing (think Otis in the middle of a health food store).

I have a couple questions that hopefully you can answer...and the whole "google - let me look that up for you" schtick is pretty tired at this point, but thanks.

In order to gamble online - does your state have to be on an "allow" list or something? Or is it really in order to collect from the gambling site your state has to be on this list?

What sites do you all bet on? Pros/Cons?

I live in Ohio and we currently do not have any casinos and I know it is illegal (?) to gamble online while living in this state (I think at least). We are getting casons early next year, does this open things up for us?

I'll throw out some NCAAB thoughts so you can all laugh at me later:

Xavier -5

Va Tech -6

Ok St +6

Western Carolina +25

Alabama -5

No state limitations. It's all techincally illegal. That said you can't get in trouble... the law pertains to the books moving cash in and out of the country. bet away. I bet on sportsbook.com. They're great and offer a lot of props (which I like) but are a bit slow with payouts (about 1 month). Other good sites are 5dimes & Betjamaica. Try to stay away from bodog as they're shady and have payout issues.

Thanks icon - Anything I know about making deposits? Didnt people used to do some weird uploaded visa card stuff or something...is that still true or am in in the early 00's with that thinking?

I'm a Buckeye. The only things I actually like about Xavier is that they suck so bad as a university that we stole Thad Matta and the fact they are only giving 5 to a crappy Butler team :thumbup:
 
Here's what I got from sportsbook in reference to opening new accts.

We are still accepting new USA customers, unfortunately we are currently unable to offer new accounts for these states only: New York, Washington, Maryland, Missouri, DC, Louisiana or Kentucky.

Basically, as a Redskins fan I know and understand Philly's offseason strategy all too well. This isn't the nba, mlb, etc. where you can add a bunch of flashy FA's and win. The nfl doesn't work that way. The lockout isn't going to make things any easier for them either. They're one of the teams that's going to be most hurt by it.This is a situation where classic groupthink has taken over, with the "Dream Team" and all that nonsense. There's probably more pressure on Philly than any other team this year.On offense I expect Vick to regress. Their oline has significant issues. Maclin is still recovering from his illness. Djax isn't happy about his contract. Steve Smith is a ?On defense, I don't think they've really improved. Sure, they've got great corners, but their lb's and safeties are a mess. And their fomrer oline coach, whose been on the offensive side of the ball for years, is now their DC. Yikes!Also, people are overrating their team from last season. Without the miracle comeback against the Giants, they don't win the division and likely don't even make the playoffs.In conclusion, this is a team that is set up to have a 7-9 to 9-7 type of season.

:lmao: No - but I'm going to start.Also thought about some different shtick. Posting plays but purposely mixing up the names of the teams with the cities they come from and then claiming a win for which ever of the two actually wins that day.
 
I've no idea Bender, I don't really play hoops until the tourney. I did break down tonight though, and won 1/3 of a unit, lofl, as I succumbed to CSU at the half. I had 2/3 in there at first, but backed off. :lmao:

BTW, I liked seeing the bowl analysis in here last night, even if I couldn't read it until this afternoon. Why don't you chime in on that stuff, Bender, if Easy E's :lmao: got you all jacked.

I don't know #### about College Football.

Truthfully, I don't watch much NFL either. Baseball, College Hoops and Tennis :bag: is pretty much it for me.

ETA = I bet on it all, but I just use you folks for my info.

almost never bet 2h cbb sides totals (unless I'm drinking and not doing anything). But this Cal 2h went from -3 to -6.5. San Jose St please.
