FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

College Basketball OVER/UNDERs for Sunday:

1pm - #2 Syracuse/Rutgers OVER 129½

SYR is averaging 78 pts vs. non-ranked opponents (75 pts on the ROAD)

Prediction: SYR 75-62

1pm - #8 Michigan State/Purdue OVER 134

MICH ST is averaging 73 pts on the season (77 pts vs. non-ranked and 63 pts vs. ranked)

However, they only average 63 pts on the ROAD

Last time they played, it was 83-58 @ MICH ST (141)

Prediction: MSU 74-64

1pm - Vanderbilt/Georgia OVER 129½

VANDY can score points by the bunches.

Prediction: VANDY 72-58

4pm - Penn State/#17 Wisconsin OVER 113

Wisconsin is scoring approx 65 at HOME (67 pts vs. non-ranked opponents)

Last time they played, it was 52-46 @ PSU

Prediction: WIS 65-50

6pm - #4 Duke/Boston College OVER 139

Boston College is scoring approx 62 at HOME

Prediction: DUKE 82-62

6pm - #20 Indiana/Iowa UNDER 154½

Indiana is dropping 83 pts on non-ranked opponents, but only 65 against ranked opponents. (78 on the season)

Iowa is averaging 73 pts per game.

I think it should be a 5-6 pt game, and this line leaves a lot of opportunity for the UNDER.

This line is where it's at because last time these two met it was 103-89 @ IND

Prediction: IND 79-73

7pm - South Florida/Pittsburgh UNDER 122

South Florida has won 3 straight and they travel to the Northeast for Pitt on Sunday and Syracuse on Wednesday. South Florida hasn't been all that great on the Road this year (3-7 Road Record)

Last time these two met the score was USF 63-51 @ USF. I think this time the rolls are reversed at the Pete.

Prediction: PIT 58-51

7:30pm - Oregon/Stanford OVER 136

Oregon beat Stanford at their place in January 78-67. Even with the line at Oregon -5.5, I would say they beat them by 10+ again.

Stanford has been terrible on the Road and 8-6 in Pac-12 play.

Prediction: ORE 77-65

The lines are pretty decent, but here are the games in order of my confidence (Feel free to fade in reverse order at your own risk!):

ORE/STAN, PIT/USF, IND/IOWA, DUKE/BC, VANDY/GEO, WIS/PSU, MSU/PUR, SYR/RUT

EDIT: to add descriptions/predictions.

Just want to go on record as saying I hate that bet. Purdue will be without two key guys. One got thrown off the team; the other is suspended for this game. The Boilers were not a deep team to begin with. I would recommend teasing Sparty down. They opened at 3 and are already at 5. Just tread lightly... that's all.
Painter dismissed Barlow from the team and suspended Byrd for Sunday's matchup after they were involved in an altercation at a campus-area bar early Friday morning.

Barlow had started 22 games and averaged 8.3 points, while Byrd averaged 16.8 points over his last five games.

"This is an unfortunate situation, but we will move forward as a program," Painter said. "We expect our student-athletes to live up to a high standard, and when their actions become detrimental to the program, there are consequences."

Raider Nation - understood. But last time these two played, Purdue only put up 58. Barlow had 6 pts and Byrd had 7 pts.

Hart and both the Johnson boys will see more time.

Don't you think Purude can put up 50+?

I agree that it may be a much safer bet teased and I do appreciate your insight.

Waiting to pound Iowa @ home today. +4 currently. Fine with that, but it will go up in favor of the road dog (IU). Right? RIGHT....???!!!

(DISCLAIMER) I am below average at this.GL

Michigan homer here, concerning the Michigan State/Purdue game the last time they played in East Lansing Purdue had to ride the bus for like 6 hours cuz of a snow storm and they could hardly run up and down the court. State blew them away early and often. I expect it to be a little closer this time but Sparty rolls and covers the -5. As to the over/under I am thinking under with MI ST playing good d. just my 2 cents.

Also on Wisconsin to cover the -15 as they need to make a statement at home.

on mich. St. -5.5 and syracuse -10. Syracuse ought to pound rutgers. This feels like a public bet but I am taking it anyway. Rutgers is a home dog on national tv but have lost 4 straight, and 3 of those by 10 plus. I think cuse' rolls.

The NBA still blows. All it takes to end the Knicks 477-game winning streak is for me to take them on the ML.

At home.

AGAINST THE HORNETS!!!

RN, Pitchers and catchers report for my guys today. Not sure if you're Angels/Dodgers, but respectively 19th/21st. Baseball is coming, man. Baseball, with all the juice, is for some reason a close second to the NFL for me. I absolutely love it.
JANKEES, MANG!
Serious consideration on a large WS future for the Yankees. Cutting the Burnett fat (pending, but will get done), addition of Pineda (LOVE that move. Montero will be a stud, but Pineda could net a WS now and has team control. Oh, potential to be totally dominant. Play to win now anyways.). Yankees could already hit, and now the pitching is as good or better as the hitting with CC, Pineda, Kuroda, Nova, Hughes (in no particular order). Mo is still good for 2012, Robertson is as solid as an 8th inning guy can get, will take the Mo reigns once he retires.+575 at 5D, might do this tomorrow.
As a life long red sox fan and former season ticket holder it pains me to say this. The day of the Pineda deal I droped a chunk of change on the yanks at +700 (posted that here). They should be the favorites going into 2012. I love this team for this year.
Even though it's +525, dropped a chunk of change on them at 5D this morning. Worth it, there's no conceivable way (barring injury) this team doesn't make the playoffs. And then you have a strong playoff team to win @ +525 sitting in your account.
Dang. A lot of people hit this over the weekend. It is down to +480 now

College Basketball OVER/UNDERs for Sunday:

1pm - Syracuse/Rutgers OVER 129½ MOVED TO 130.5

1pm - Michigan State/Purdue OVER 134 MOVED TO 130

1pm - Vanderbilt/Georgia OVER 129½ MOVED TO 131

4pm - Penn State/Wisconsin OVER 113 MOVED TO 113.5

6pm - Duke/Boston College OVER 139 MOVED TO 135.5

6pm - Indiana/Iowa UNDER 154½ MOVED TO 151.5

7pm - South Florida/Pittsburgh UNDER 122 MOVED TO 122.5

7:30pm - Oregon/Stanford OVER 136
Does the line moving 4 pts change you opinion on the MICH ST / PURDUE game? I am guessing probably not. But a 4 pt difference makes it hard for me to take the UNDER now that I have already put 1u on the OVER.

I think I am going to hit the DUKE / BC OVER again with another bet at 135.5. I see this being an 80+ night for Duke.

What about the INDIANA / IOWA game? This line moved 3 pts... are you guys all the the UNDER as well? Let's discuss!

Wings/Sharks o5.5

Sabers/Pens o5.5

May play the Wings ML too. Love the over. Also like the over in Pens/Sabres. Johnson in net for Pitt and they should put a few past Miller.

It's up to -130 now, but the red wings are a good team at home and the sharks will have their hands full getting to 35 shots.

Chi and Buf under looks good as well.

Hit each one for a unit and we should walk away with 2.

Going with something I saw on another website today. Apparently the historical stats on it a pretty good. Take the over on any CBB game where the spread is less than 10 and the total is under 144. I'm doing this on 5D where they offer a "Miss 5" parlay where if you get 10 or more right out of 15 you get +505. Action all day and a fantastic payout ratio to go 66% on your bets.

8-7 thus far. Will update after the next few wrap up. I like this method though, even the losses are pretty close for the most part. I feel like 10 for 15 on this could hit almost any time.
So 8-7 on the day, SU would be right around a break even on the day. The 10 wins for +505 didn't come in, but I like the way the results came out. I will definitely be loading up on this 10 for 15 +505 for the tournament and NFL next season, very doable to go 66%. A little more research in games to play and this could be a nice money maker. Plus it was alot of fun, love playing totals and the over.

My thought is that the shedding of AJ from the rotation becoming official this weekend makes the Yankees look even better on paper, and the books are adjusting the market since people probably pounded based on this.

I'm on purdue today at 10

MSU has won 4 big games in a row - Michigan . Penn st by 20 , Ohio st and Wisconsin. Then Vegas makes them only -3 vs a team they already beat by 25. Was waiting for the line to get to -5.5 but actually moved back to -4.5 which makes me believe some big $ liked purdue +5 too. Purdue is on the bubble at home and needs this game.

Took Bryce Molder over Johnathen BirdAlso took Dustin Johnson to win at 8-1
I got Molder as well. They were just saying how the guy makes everything -- that they joke about it when he misses a putt. Good enough for me.Other one I took is Perez over Badds. Nice dog there. Can't decide to lay the juice or not on Phil here...

Cant back a guy who is hitting it poorly like Phil right now. He is making a lot of up and downs, but I cant back a guy who has to make a bunch of 10 foot par putts.

I bit the bullet. Phil has to take a guy like this down on a stage this big. Has to. (I hope)
I am a big Keegan Bradley fan. Guy is a star in the making.
Oh I realize his skillz, just had to pick a side is all. With all that's happened for Phil this past week, and now being able to all of a sudden go back-to-back, in his backyard more or less, I just have to take the ol' vet. It will be fun, regardless.

Looks like Ima be wrong anyway. Shocking, I know. Good call. :hifive:

Here is where we do it (2H Lines at the Half):1u on Under 70.5 for Purdue / Michigan St (makes GAME UNDER 143.5 coupled with our OVER 134)

1u on Under 71.5 for Syracuse / Rutgers (makes GAME UNDER 145.5 coupled with our OVER 129.5)

Also 1u on Over 71 for Vanderbilt / Georgia (makes GAME OVER 128 coupled with our OVER 129.5)

I don't like this play as much as the first two 2H plays. But my System is making this call. So we will see! Good luck to all!

Get in on these 2H lines while you can!

####, missed out. Scoring in the Purdue/MSU game just STOPPED in the first 2:41 of the 2H, so likely winner in that one.

After a hot start to the day yesterday, ended up 19-16

1u Miami(Oh) -4

1u Pitt -7.5

1u Stanford -5.5
