FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

Heat by a million tonight. If not more.
C's cover. They werent ready for a LBJ one man show last time. It's fair to say the Heat go back to the well tonight. Doc is a great coach and wont let that happen again.
Welp, it wasn't by "a million" but it was by "enough"...
Yessir. Grade that ish, fight's about to start! :boxing:
Bradley +320 is very, very good value, methinks.

I have the biggest action of my life on the Heat to win the title. And I'm half in the bag. This should be fun.
You can get C's +9 right now in the 2H Hell you got a 2 point middle and you dont need to worry about OKC. I'd book that. Edit +9.5....
Done...put the entire amount on Celtics +9 for second half.
did the same here. Fairly certain Miami will win by more than 2 now
will lose quite a bit here on this 2nd half bet, but i feel worse for those who had the Celtics +8 for the game
:bag:

+375 at 5D, sprinkling a little more on. Let's do this, love big fights.

Glad I got those bets in. Grasping at straws, but Manny was "concentrating on the Celtics game, he's a big fan" and "his calves were a little strained," the delays pre-fight here. Dog is a dog, but I'll take any positives I can get.

Thanks for posting the underdog play guys! I usually never bet boxing.
And this is why you shouldn't. Pacquiao dominated for most of the fight. Bradley was good, but I'm not sure I completely agree with the decision. But, I'll gladly put in my withdraw request on Monday morning thanks to the judges decision, no disputes here. :banned:

Haralabos Voulgaris ‏@haralabobLate money on this boxing match, Pac was -432 at 2pm it closed -397 at pinny. Lots of late money on Bradley. Take that fwiw.
Oh ESPN is getting ready after the commercial break to report on "..potential corruption in boxing..." I just happened to be on the right side of potential, let's call it, mob money. Dumb luck, I'll take it. Small steps back after the 20/1 and 7/1 brutal beat I took on QPR win and draw in the QPR/Man City match where 2 goals were scored in the 89th and penalty minutes at the end of last EPL season with QPR up by 1. I don't think I'll ever forget that as long as I live, nice to be on the other side every once in awhile.

I agree that the decision was bogus. And I really, really missed getting some retribution last night from the blown decision in the first Uncle Creepy/Mighty Mouse fight. But being on the right side of this boxing result tonight will more than make up for that.

Your move, Universe.

:goodposting: I don't think any one in here will forget about that one for a while. Whether invested in it or not.

Question: If it comes out that this decision was rigged, how do the books handle it? Processing withdraw first thing Monday morning regardless.

Today's card is probably too large for a Sunday :bag:

Joker to win second set +938. He's down a game, and I'm playing the angle of anything can go after the rain delay/coaching/mental break.

It's like, almost mathematically impossible for New Jersey to win this series, right?
i'm not hedging anything yet, but the Kings better finish this up on Monday. If the Devils end up winning this cup they will be responsible for costing me over 6 figures this NHL playoffs :hot: There are a lot of teams I don't like, and i am pretty sure the Devils will jump to the top of that list

Only once in finals history has a 3-0 series lead been bested. The 1942 Detroit Red Wings were up 3-0 before losing four straight to the Toronto Maple Leafs. It almost happened again in 1945 when the Maple Leafs had a 3-0 series lead in the finals. They lost three in a row but won game 7.

:lmao: :lmao: Well, luckily my math was REALLY off. it's just breaking 5 figures. 6 figures is WAAAYYYY out of my league, and actually 5 probably is too

Just finished up my second round of the season...bogeyed 18 to shoot 80. So angry at myself.

Par 5

Hit my tee shot way right, had to take an unplayable...bombed a 3 wood to 60 yards out in the fairway...Had to open up the 60 degree wedge and flop it over the bunker as the hole was cut about 7 paces over it on the right...Hit it to 15 feet....burned the edge on the putt.

Only wayward tee shot I hit all day...Got up and down to save par on 14, 15, 16, and 17 to keep the dream alive. Nearly chipped in on 17 from 30 feet right of the green. Made 3 birdies and STILL didnt shoot 79. Was even par through 6 and made bogey, triple, double to close out the front nine. Birdied 11 and 12 and horseshoed a par putt on 13.

42-38....1 damn shot

Playing again on Father's Day. Gonna get after it again.

Shot 79 last year...Course was short and tight. I played a 6 hole stretch in 3 under par...hung on for dear life on the last 6 holes and was drained at the end. It was like I just played a major championship.Today I bet I made 7-8 6 footers and the only one I missed I horseshoed out....When it happened I feared it was going to cost me 79...I think it was on my mind during the last tee shot....If I coulda stood on the tee knowing I needed a bogey on a par 5, life would have been easy.

Holy crap, mo - 5 figures is an awful lot. I would have to get a second job. You must have upped your units 10x from the old days. Hope it doesn't hurt you financially.

Yeah, i got caught chasing in March and April, and slowed it down a bit in May. But the Flyers, Rangers, and the East futures took a big chunk out of me. If the Devils win the cup, I think i am out of gambling until at least halfway through the NFL season. Fingers are crossed that the Kings take it, Quick gets the Conn Smythe, and the Thunder and Durant do their thing as well.

The first time I broke 80 I needed a birdie on the 18th hole, par 5, got the birdie, great great feeling. The very next round I played was a charity thing at oak hill(hosted ryder cup, pga, etc) I shot 107 and played well, that brought me back to reality :lmao:

I havent gone north of 100 in probably 10 years...but I have only shot 79 once.I live in the high 80's low 90's. I am a good putter and a decent driver of the golf ball, so its tough to make big numbers. I just rarely hit irons and wedges close, so I dont make many birdies and getting up and down from anywhere in the fairway is a rare for me unless its a chip.Makes me consistently mediocre.

I'll say this one final time. Heat win this series. People in NBA thread calling for a sweep from the Thunder.
 you loading up at +140 I assume?
I've got most of the action with my local at +125 which I took at the beginning of the Conference Finals4 Units there8 Units at +120 ( :( )8 units at +150Lumpy was right...when I made the +120 bet, I was crazy not to just wait for the finals match up

I don't see any way the Heat can win this series. They don't have anybody big enough to contain Durantula and Ibaka under the net. It's going t be a Westbrook alley-oop slamfest all series long.

I'm splitting my bet between Thunder in 4 and Thunder in 5.

I just went in to Sportsbook to bet the exact series, and they have an incorrect line.

5 Games Heat Win+600

5 Games Thunder Win+800

That should be the other way around. Anybody who was interested in that bet should grab it now before it's fixed.

I'll be on the Thunder as well. These playoffs changed when Scott Brooks decided to switch everything starting in game 3 of the SAS series. Parker killed them in the first two games on the pick and roll. Brooks just trusted the switch and it changed everything. Same thing goes for this series. In game 7 of the Miami series, Boston couldn't stop the James/Wade pick and roll. The Thunder will simply switch it and be fine. That means its going to be harder for James and Wade to get into the lane so easily.

That's also why I don't believe in the whole he's covering him. There's so much pick and roll that matchup change on every possession it seems like.

Should be a very good series.

That's because it's 2-3-2. Game 5 will be in Miami. Miami winning 1 in OKC, then 3 at home is more likely than OKC winning 2 or 3 games in Miami.

Thanks for clarifying. Thant makes sense.
