Just looked at all of my pending bets. If anybody want to help a brother out here, feel free to vote for Obama. I think I am on the right side, though I also think politics is for the birds.

I have a unit on Obama -150. He's starting to pull away some, I think it would take a pretty major scandal to make this close.

I got a ton. And got some horrendous lines. it looks like on 4/26 I got it at -350 . So with that, i have 4 figures on it. Anybody with any actual news with these would be great. I check the political threads and soon run for my life after i see the debacle in those threads. So anybody in the know, what do you got?

I think Obama -160 to win WI presents a ton of value. Silver's model didn't change much with Ryan added on, he still has Obama as an 80% favorite to win.

They have the Wild at +1500 which surprised me. I thought the push they got this summer would have had them closer. Not saying they will even get near the Cup, but i thought that was interesting. They have the favorites as Pittsburgh and Vancouver, both at +350. The other one that had me interested was the Blues at +900. I just don't know enough about that team, but they seemed to have their act together last year and seemed to be looking to go on a real good run.

With that said I think you're insane placing a hockey future right now, hockey is the one sport more than any other where seeding doesn't matter, it's a free for all in the playoffs. I'd guess you could wait the entire season and right before the playoffs start you could get better than +500 on the rangers

The Manning U looks pretty good. I really like the Schaub U 4430.5. That HOU defense is much better now. The days of him throwing for 4500 are over in my mind. That would be a large bet for me. He was on pace for about 3900 last year. Rivers U 4700.5 is a pretty good bet also.

I have done it for years, and the guy who runs it is legit. you basically pick 5 games a week with the spread, and winner at the end of the season gets most of the pot. It is a good deal, and the guy has good records of everything. I recommend it, so let me know if anyone has any interest and i can email you the info. There was one year there was a guy who tore it up, and i made some good money tailing his picks for my "real" plays for the week. He feel back to earth last year, but it was a nice side benefit to the league.
