FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

So here's kind of a funny story. I had baked haddock with a crab meat stuffing for dinner.

I think it may have been bad. Stomach starts rumbling LOUDLY right after I ate, and now I've been pissing out of my ass for the past three hours. It's coming out in a Hunter green shade.

:toilet:
Twin Oaks?
I wish. Fish counter at Stop & Shop. I get it all the time. It's usually excellent.

just got these two messages in separate pop up dialogs at RB:

The MAXIMUN RISK amount allowed for the current selection is: 100

The MINIMUN RISK amount allowed for the current selection is: 20

I'm kind of wishing I hadn't hedged with Den +7.5 tomorrow and just ridden the Pats raw dog.

You guys think NE will have issues tomorrow?

i haven't watched enough of their games to give a good assessment, and from what Manning keeps on saying you would think he will eventually get the timing and Denver offense down to be competitive every game. Denver never seemed to be a threat when they played Atl and Houston, but actually looking at the scores now they kept those games relatively close. Basically, i guess i have nothing to say about this one, but getting Denver at +7.5 seems to be a pretty good call considering they lost @ Atlanta by 6 (21-27).

Look like i am in for a night similar to the one Lumpy had a week ago or whenever. So while I am up, I might as well see if there are any angles that take advantage of. Does anybody have a stat for which coaches are likely to take the ball to start the game, and which are likely to defer?

Mo - I believe most people are in bed at 4:17 EDT...get some sleep. You are not going to miss any angles and there will be gambling available when you wake up.

Pats always defer and the giants tend to take the ball.I know that from our super bowl props discussions. And yeah.... I hope you got some sleep. I woke up on the couch at 5:20 am.

Me too pal, me too :clyde:ETA: I always know it's been a bad day when by 8pm I'm looking up things on the DVR to take my attention away from the bloodbath. Last night I plowed thru a lot of backup on my DVR, a lot.

Need some slow cooker help (Im new). I put a pork shoulder in with some potatos. None of the directions called for adding water but it seems "too dry" to cook right. I ended up adding a large cup of water with some of the BBQ sauce Im going to use when I shred it.

Am I doing this right?

It definitely needs liquid.Water, BBQ sauce and liquid smoke is best.RaiderNation is the expert tho.I made beef stew yesterday and everything above the liquid was über dry

First, will you just admit that that was the wrong call last Monday?

I'm trying to find some live dogs but nothing really sticking out to me. Sorry bout yesterday and what i thought were two good live dogs. Northwestern(if i'm not mistaken) had a 10 pt. lead in the 4th quarter. Couldn't hold on for the outright win, couldn't stop penn st. from covering the 3-3.5, and then at the end, totally pi ssed away the many teaser legs i had with 9-9.5. Purdue on the other hand, at least got demolished from the getgo.Dogs i'm looking at for today are the titans and seahawks.

I notice we have a lot of visitors lately reading the thread but never post.

This must be where all the internet sharks come to get the Sharps Report and lumpy's teaser slate of the week.

I bet in an alternate universe they are discussing on covers "those guys over at FBG have some pretty good wagering knowledg

At least I'd like to think so.

Of course then they run into RN talking about having the green apple splatters, people getting drunk, and modogg up at 4 AM which is usually the time the booger sugar runs out looking for which referees flip heads or tails more often.

we're like the Bad News Bears of the wagering world me thinks.

These are plays only because less than 25% of the public is on Jags and Dolphins.I really have no handicap on the games other than that, straight up public fades and nothing more.

Yeah the favs all look pretty good today. You might have a winner with Hasselbeck at the helm and the 'Hawks D looks like a pretty good match v the Panthers.

Nothing gets me into handicapping zone quicker than drinking 40 ounces of coffee and putting this on full blast on my 1988 boombox

I feel like I'm going to win 6 figures today.

check back with me around 7 PM when I'm holding a razor to my wrists.

Yea, for some reason, I have 49ers, Ravens, Patriots, Packers and Bears locked up in quite a few ML parlays and teasers. Bears have bye next week and shouldn't be looking past the jags today. 9ers homecoming game, don't see a letdown. Packers need win to keep pace with vikings and bears. Ravens and Pats scare me a little bit as mid sized road favorites, but i like them anyway to outright win. Might throw a small teaser in with the chiefs and colts and hope for a middle there.edit: pats are at home, not on the road.

Nope - right call all the way. Well except the O PI.

You gotta be kidding me. Is he kidding? He's kidding, right!?
It's the progressive units thing he does.Starts off with 1 or 2 units, gets further and further buried. By Week 10 he will be betting 45 units a game lol.Check my math a week ago. One unit for Levi is $7.96 - so really it's like a case of Busch Lites he's "wagering"

The good old Martingale system, impossible to lose

Especially when you don't wager real money,
