I know.Would be an all out #### show at that point. Believe me, I've thought of that.If I'm crazy for even trying it, I'll take my medicine and move on. I can handle the 8 units. No, other than she won't want to sit still for any length of time and you'll end up chasing her around instead of watching the race.

If the weather.com "future" radar map is accurate and they do indeed start this game at 3:07pm CST ..... there is gonna be a lengthy delay after about 1 hour of play. There could be some value in a few props if both pitchers only last a few innings. I thought they would have postponed the start by now with it being the playoffs. I'm gonna watch it closely and wager accordingly.

ETA: Cardinals beat writer Jeff Gordon just said they will start on time and they think they can get 2 to 2 1/2 hours into the game before the rain.

Last year I took my three year old to Gulfstream and she had a reasonably good time. The fact that they have a preview area where they show the horses up close before the race was a real plus. She picked a 7-1 to win and it placed so I bought her an ice cream. At some point this winter I'll probably bring her again.

I like all of those games and I agree with you on the 49ers. I really like the situation for the defense in that one coming off the NYG loss and short week for Seattle after their upset win. That’s not much time to prepare and not to mention their fifth game in 24 days.I put the Bucs ML in a parlay with NYG, SF and HOU. I don’t have the stat but my gut tells me the Saints have never done well on the grass in Tampa Bay, even when they were a good team. No way the Saints should be giving points to them at home. Also teased that line up to 9.5 with NYG, SF and HOU PK.

Texans are going to run for 700 yards on Sunday.I like 49ers/Giants/Texans and Tampa for teasers but putting extra juice on the 49ers/Texans leg and also the three team legs with those two teams involved.

I agree with regard to Houston. Somebody would have to explain to me how BAL is going to contain Arian Foster. I could see that being a 17 point game real easily.
 
That was weird. Bet the Cards to have more hits/runs 3rd inning -.5 @ +180. A few minutes later, it was giants -.5 +170. Looked like a free play to me. 50 to win 90 on cards, 50 to win 85 on giants.

Isn't it a short week for both teams?I like the 49ers here as well, but it seems like people love to throw the "short week" angle out a lot. Is there any statistical difference if, say a team that plays on Sunday plays a team coming off their bye week on a Thursday night?

 
Nothing really jumped off the sheet tonight. I'm going with a .6/1 unit parlay under 7 tonight and 49er ML. If like to get another unit down on Seattle +7 and try and middle this game.

I understand your question. I totally agree with you. I just mean that I like the SF defense at home already. And it just adds to it the fact that the Seahawks and rookie QB are probably still caught up hearing about how good they played on Sunday and now have to travel to SF and play football tomorrow. Meanwhile the 49ers have probably been very focused on moving forward and forgetting last week with the intent of playing extra aggressive and mad. The short week just amplifies my high excitement level towards the situation. :thumbup:
 
I have a managerial accounting exam at 930AM tomorrow. And I have a calculus exam on Friday. The woman in my calculus class asked me to meet her for coffee tomorrow to review our homework and compare answers on the take-home portion of our exam. I’m going to ask her out Saturday night.

The original with keitel is better than the new one with nick cage, but the scene where nick smokes the crack had me laughing my ### off. His reaction after hitting it was very lifelike. Both are worth checking out.

The Football Life docs on the NFL network have been awesome, pretty sure those are on wednesday nights.The Challenge on MTV is also on Wednesday nights at 10, easily my favorite show on tv :bag:

could be a trap, but rumor has it Lattimore may sit this game out with a hip injury, along with Clowney (knee) and several members of the team have the flu.

Florida sitting currently as a 3.5 favorite at home.
