I am completely mystified by the whole thing. I was certainly into it because it was a pretty large bet for me, but for those who did not have money invested in the bet, i am clueless how they can care so much. They actually act like it means something, like all of a sudden things will be change or be different :crazy:

I played Texas A&M at +14. I think they're a tough matchup for Bama, just can't resist getting 2 scores at home.

A&M has lost 2 games, both against good defenses (LSU and Florida). They've moved the ball great against everyone else. Saban knows he escaped with one last week...plus someone finally "exposed" a flaw in his defense...he will be prepared and A&M won't be able to move the ball well against Bama. I expect multiple turnovers.Bama -13.5

CBB: Maryland +11.5. Counting on Kentucky not being quite there yet (this year's version won't be as good as the last two), this being the first time UK has opened against a major opponent in the Calipari era, and the fact that Maryland is better than perceived especially with Wells just being declared eligible for the year.

I'm a taker in this thread, not a giver. I don't do any capping, just wong/quant plays, so don't have much to add. But I love this thread and appreciate the discussion.
 
Well between the FSU lethargy and the Jags just being completely inept on offense, I lose 2u.

We move on, I don't like NFL totals at all and tonight was the first time I've bet a Thursday night game all year (non teaser).

Looks like a bad night for the majority, bad beats all over the place.

Honest to God Question. Do I pick up and start the Bills vs the Pats, the Saints vs Atlanta or just take a zero?Honestly I think taking the zero is the right move.
 
Not too often you get a sincere mea culpa in here, but sorry to anyone who tailed my Fla St play(s). They looked like an average ACC team tonight and more surprisingly so did Va Tech. Really thought that we would see a blowout tonight.

Saints would be my initial inclination, but hold off a bit. Maybe I can come up with a creative trade.I owe mx one for him trading Dwyer to Zilla the day before Zilla played me. It cost me a W.

Who work you drop? Bills vs pats should be good for 2 sacks.

So 2 points for sacks -5 for yards and points.... still think the zero is the play.I'd drop S holmes at this point. My team blows.
 
28 completions for 330 yards for both Jags QBs combined.

Not only did Gabbert get hurt on a seemingly harmless play at 18 for 209 when his Over/Under for each was 19.5/220.5, he also waited until AFTER Luck threw his INT to throw a pick.

F him.

 
Meh, I thought that FSU 2h was gold. They poured it on Clemson in the 2h, thought they'd do the same to the Hokies tonight. Thought that would clear by better than a TD.

You do realize Holmes isn't coming back? Add a defense.
 
Joe, no offense but your team is even more hideous than you made it out to be.

I got nuthin in the way of possible trades.

My advice: get McFadden out of your lineup. He's dead. Put Jackson in. Then pickup the Titans D. They should be good for a few points @ MIA.
