Was just wondering where you been and if you drank yourself to death. Can't believe you missed the pick 6; that would've been one of the best rushes you'll ever get gambling. As each race unfolds and you get closer and closer, it is absolutely ####### nuts. You're lucky the longshot got nosed out in the last race, you woulda been kicking yourself and your family in the d ick.

Sucks - I got too drunk last night to comprehend private messages and/or FBG. I kicked myself in the #### today after you posted that it won. however, I am pumped for you

I'm sure some of you degenerates have frequented the various sports betting forums out there through the years. What is the deal with 100 units, 50 units, 30 units? Why not just say $30 or one unit? Also some guy in one forum started a thread saying he had $100k and then is listing his plays. Unfortunately for him his math isn't very good and he's adding wins he never posted on the board to his totals. Guy is up to $160k now, lucky *******.

A unit is a standard bet for that person. Some folks bet $20 units..... some folks bet $1000 units. Multiple unit bets are an indicator of relative strength. If I say I have $100 on something it's a pretty big play for me. For someone like Lumpy it's probably nothing. And then the paranoia fiscal reasons as well.EDIT: NM I see the above. Also DD, a unit price varies for each bettor so what you are reading on here about when someone bets multiple units you need to realize that it can vary wildly and over time you should become aware of posters' actual unit size and their corresponding confidence on a particular game.

Did you read my subsequent posts? Not sure why people are giving me the definition of a unit, I guess I wasn't very clear. My whole point is that there a a lot of dumb gamblers out there, and a lot of them reside in these sportsbook forums. I was hoping there might be some content to help with tough calls, but there is nothing at all. Mostly just guys dogging each other for losing bets and the like.

I hear a lot about the covers forums and people losing their mind. I don't venture over to other boards very often if at all. I like the vibe around here where people don't get ragged on for bad plays. Especially since I post so many bad plays. Must be pretty fun to watch. Might have to make it a habit to check in over there on Sunday nights.

I was thinking how crazy it would've been on here watching/posting about each win; that woulda been one for the books. I get crazy superstitious...and moreso as each race go by. And since not a single GB here jumped in, I didn't want to post about it and what was transpiring. I was holed up in my apartment. A neighbor came by because he heard me screaming and here I am in my boxers still late in the afternoon and I would only talk to him through my sliding glass screen door. Wouldn't let the guy in or near me. Then had the audacity to ask him to get me beers but leave them on my porch.I am going to post the photo of the 45 year old Filipino quarter horse jockey that cost me 80 thousand dollars. You have to see it. Not so much to see the losing margin but because it also shows him patting the horse because that's all the loser could do with no ####### whip.

Adding Georgia/Georgia Tech UNDER 64 2U Looked at this one earlier in the week and forgot to dig into it further. Georgia has the 18th best scoring defense and Georgia Tech has been running up their point totals on some very inferior defensive competition. BYU is probably the best defensive team they've played and they scored 17 points. Georgia scrimmaged against Georgia Southern last week who runs the same O as Ga Tech, I think that will help them here and Georgia has just played superior competition all year. Highest total for this game in a long time, last year they combined for 48. I say Georgia 35 Ga Tech 17 with some room to give.ETA: Units

Getting my SB account funded is becoming more of a PITA than my marriage was.

I hear ya man, I want to play USC but just think it's the wrong side. This is coming from a guy who watched botht he Michigan and Pittsburgh games whistle to whistle, Notre Dame definitely can be had. But they DO HAVE a legit D and this is a tough spot for a raw QB. Add in USC's D which has looked horrendous this year and I'm I am thinking I might try the under 46.5 though. What do you think about that?
