alright, feel like the monkey is off my back with these MMA/UFC plays since they have been less than stellar the last few cards. So i think i can make some better picks now:for Thursday:Curran -130Zayats +220 .5 unityou can probably find zayats at better odds, and i'm sure he'll be better odds tomorrow. that's a smaller bets because Zayats really isn't good, the bet is more of a fade of my boy Babalu who is just old and his age has really caught up to him. All we need is Zayats not to be a big dummy and go to the ground and try his ju jitsu with Babalu, and we should have a better than 50% chance of winning here
adding Hawn +230 .5 unit. you might be able to find better odds too, fight is closer than Hawn being more than a 2 to 1 underdog. Will be a fun night of fights, and it's on Spike if anybody is bored
If you had to suggest me to play just one? Which would it be? Curran?
actually, i may just suggest Hawn. it is always fun betting the good odds, and it is hard to see how some of these guys look tonight with the upgrade in exposure. I think Curran wins tonight, and think it is a good play too, but he is coming off a long lay-off, so there are always some questions with it. But Freire has a 20 month lay off too, which I think may be one of the bigger factors in this one. I would say go with Hawn (mostly because low risk), than Curran, and Zayats last.

Trading emails with the head honcho at SB. This is unreal.
:( Shame it has to come to that, but best of luck GPJ
I'm basically a manager arguing with an umpire on the field at this point. Nothing's getting reversed, I'm just getting my $.02 in.
Not for nuthin, but you're a sucker if you give them one PENNY of business going forward after all of this.If you want a book you'll never accuse of pulling underhanded crap, and you like to get paid on time, check out Legends.http://www.betlegends.eu/about_us/Their reputation is A+, but the one problem a lot of folks have with them is they have an extremely limited prop menu. So look around a bit before you bother signing up to make sure it's right for you. Any minor issue I've ever had with them was resolved instantly in live chat.

Bender is pulling some good shtick in the Te'o thread... posting pics which were posted 22 hours ago. :excited:
:tail:ETA: Has this tumblr been posted yet? I had to leave my desk at work today to :lmao: . The internet is so...fast on stuff like this. My linkEiffer Teo'er is my #1 pick so far.

The Lance Armstong 1 nut Teo made me spit out my drink
I didn't get that one at first :bag: Thanks, awesome. Interwebs rule.

Austin Peay, ranked sixth in the nation with a success rate of over 42 percent from 3-point range, made two 3-pointers on 19 attempts and shot 38.5 percent from the field tonight.WTF <_<

Zayats dropping some bombs!
it's funny, i predicted almost exactly how that one would go. I'm pissed i only had .5 unit on it, I don't think we'll get any more opportunities to take advantage of fading Babalu. I like the guy too, but man does he need to hang it up. Zayats sucks, look forward to betting against him next roundETA: would love Hawn to come through here as well, been a while since i could get a clean sweep

If St. Joe's loses by more than 12, i am likely to break something of significance in my house. I can deal with losing a bet on a dog because of OT crap once a year, but 2 nights in a row will leave me awfully salty

I'm an alum, and they're on life support to me as an active follower. AD/Martelli never capitalized on 2004 and the program has for the most part been irrelevant before and after. I have a really hard time supporting a program that's not even trying to aspire to something greater. It's frustrating.

they are in a weird spot. I am an alum as well ( :hifive: ) but have always been a fringe basketball fan (though i did fall down the stairs for everyone during one of those midnight games in October because i smoked way too much). Had some good years, and it is strange to see where they are going. I usually hear good things with recruiting and stuff, and then they always end up being mediocre. strange stuff

Haha, :hifive: . I almost got kicked off campus my freshman year on midnight madness. Those were a blast. But yeah, every single year, "Great recruiting class coming in. Should be awesome!" And then it ends up just bleh. I don't know man. I just like seeing my school on my website with a line next to it, draws me in to play it whenever I get an itch for college BBall.

yeah, those were good times. Me and my buddies had a place at Lincoln Court and would live it up all the time. I went back to the campus recently because they threw my fat ### into the SJU rugby hall of fame, and the kids now adays just don't know how to party anymore. Lame ducks all around

I didn't know what the hell to post. I forget who did it, but i liked the one best that linked to an astronaut. I am just a beaten man, poor excuse for a former college athlete. 30's, 5'11" 230. I had around 8% body fat at 190, so i got a lot of work to get back there. Love living up and drinking. Have tons of stories to entertain people, but unfortunately i hit my head so many times i don't remember half of them. Got a wife and 2 dogs (pitbull and Rottweiller mix), work for a mental health/social services agency running our Philadelphia office, and i see some depressing crap throughout my days. I forget the rest of the questions. Feel free to swing away while i add sanother bet because my Hawn bet lost:Petruzelli -170and for you question to Mcquinn JR. i will give my 2 cents: if it is after 1 a.m. and you are in the bag, i say Pat's Whiz without. And if you go there make sure you say it right, or all hell breaks lose. If you are looking for when you are sober and in the area, there are some good spots around. I got a nice one by me in Manayunk area that is kind of popular. But if you are coming in for one, go do the pats and Geno's and get one of each.

Congrats GB, that's awesome! I rowed first two years and lived in Manayunk my last two years, loved it there, 1 block from the bars and far away from campus. My litany on that whole limiting the party scene is better discussed over PM, I have axes to grind! Lots of factors in play from when I graduated to what I even hear nowadays.

Congrats on making the HOF, Mo.
Gracias. I sound like a d-bag bringing it up, bu it is a fun thing to say. They put in a bunch of us from our team because we kicked some ### and were the first team with St. Joe's to get to playoff level of playing and went to nationals. I'll still say to this day the OL from U of Oregon are just absolute beasts

huh, i would like to hear more about that. I got to find my way to bed here soon, but i would love to hear your thoughts. Crazy stuff, i am just glad we were able to live it up before we ruined it for everyone else. I know our parties at Lincoln and some of our adventures on the rugby team didn't help

DD, I'd have to say I'm a Tony Luke's guy myself as my go-to. Tourist trap wise, Pat's has never done me wrong if it's Pat's vs. Geno's. Real "local" cheese steak joint favorite is Steve's Prince of Steaks (which just got a permit to have a location in Center City, which would be deadly if I still worked around there.) Dalessandro's is a good one too, when I lived near it in college I used to go there once every few weeks, great steaks, haven't been back there in a long time.

only one that may fit too is Jim's down on South St. You can usually score some pot from the cooks while you are there as well

Might as well throw Talk of the Town out there if he is by the stadiums. Until Steve opens up in Center City, it really isn't a tourist destination on the Boulevard.

So everyone has had those weeks where they chaseeee... And everytime I take a ridiculous ML they lose. (Ex. I took INDIANA ML $100 to win $15 the other night and they lost to Wisky)So...with that being said, talk me out of Federer -996 tomorrow at 6pm.

Who makes the cheesesteaks at the Flyers games? All you can eat/drink for me on Saturday there.

Yeah, I wanted to just say Aramark made them but I looked it up and I think its Campos. I've never had them but they are good there. Also appreciated the offer for the game but not gonna be here besides, I'm being spiteful with them for the time being.
