FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (11 Viewers)

Stomach punch list:1. Jonus Enroth2. Bill Callahan3. Card Trader4. Toronto Maple Leafs5. The guy who thought of fracking for natural gas

So....without pimping my wifes eBay site...we just got an unexpected bonus. She started a Patagonia jacket (used) last week for $24.99. It just closed for almost $1,600 and we have no idea why. As soon as we listed it we started getting offers and people asking to end the auction but I had no clue we were sitting on that kind of gem.Wild.

Leafs are already on my #### list too. I was THIS close to playing them last night against Pitt and chickened out at the last minute. Bastages.

wtf kind of jacket is this? did y'all just pick it up at a thrift shop or something?

Anybody eying UofA at half here? Walton is in rare form. Awful but funny, Tucson has him all giddy about his college daze. Grateful Dead mention in second half is at -180.

I know, 1.5 racks is chump change to the Bronger, but it's a decent come up for us being that we paid $8 for it.Anyway, didn't mean to hijack...just was a shocker.

:hophead:We didn't find out why it went for so much. Wouldn't mind getting a link to the site, either.
Still don't have a clue why. I may respond to one of the original bidders who offered us a couple hundred bucks last week and ask why it sold for that price.Link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=370740507816I didn't know if FBG frowned on posting this kind of stuff so I didn't originally. Ruds, lmk if I should remove.

Yeah, she's ran a business for 6 or 7 years going thrifting. Routinely out earns my appraisal business. :wall:

Not a hockey guy but trying to learnTaking a shot on the pho/sj over5.5+105. Phoenix played a real physical game last night and I think SJ will be able to score a plenty. Call it not much more than a hunch so playing it for .75 units... just cause.GLTAAB

Really odd, that jacket going for that price. Looks like something Costanza would wear. Was Lennay Kekua the high bidder?

Not what I was talking about at all. Just curious why it went for so much, you must've found out by now, no? Vintage Patagucci is all that I could come up with...

:lmao: No kidding. I've sold Brioni, Hermes and Kiton jackets and never got half that much for one of those.

UCLA +7.5. Do we think they can hold on here or not? I have not been watching :whistle:Edit I see what Brong did. You got the best of it for certain. Pass. Gluck!

Oooh, UCLA loses Ware for the rest of the game, they just announced right before the 2nd half. That's a surprise, wasn't mentioned at all at half.

Well, SH*TSH*TSH*T!!!Really, Ole Miss? REALLY???!!! 4 of 23 shooting in the 1st half???!!! Fewest points scored in the 1st half since 2009???!!! 33 trips to the FT Line, and only 19 makes???!!! Ole Miss (-8.5) 62 - Tennessee 56. FCUK!!!Well, I'm going down swinging! Gonzaga -9.5!!! Who's with me???!!!

I hate this bet, but I'm in for the haul already:Ben Askren (MMA) -550.I know the line has moved worse then that, but i don't see really see a path to victory for Amoussou. This should be close to a virtual lock. But of course, i thought the Broncos over the Ravens was a virtual lock too
I'll warn anybody who wanted to tail or watch this, Askren is possibly the most boring fighter in MMA. So all be warned

Is he more boring than Dan Severn?

Nice, i like the reference RN. the answer is yes, though it is enjoyable if you have money on him and easy to put up with

Ok, went back and found some more information out. It's called the Patagonia Das Parka, this one was from 2005. Apparently this thing is rare (don't ask me why). It currently retails for $299 but some of the recent older jackets have sold for high in the past 2 months or so on eBay (one for $1100, one for $700+). :banned:

gmbacnmanere - I saw your question about the Murray/Fed match a few pages back and typed out a response from my phone but never sent it.Sorry about that. It's obviously over now, but I would have said the odds on Federer were good odds but I didn't think he would win.Hindsight and I didn't bet it myself. Anyway - like I said before, I find it much more difficult to bet on late round matchups in tennis. First 4 rounds are much much easier. I'm no good in the semis/finals :(

I have a lot of money in my sportsbook account thanks to the Ravens.I was just going to keep it as a bank roll since my initial investment was 100 dollars and between GooRoo and Ravens ML, it's kind of play money to me.Anyway - was thinking of withdrawing a bit of it. If I've never done a withdrawal before, just how hard is it to set everything up? I'm not worried about the wait time, but the proof of residence set up, etc. How painstaking is this going to be?
