If anyone happened to watch and play, Jr had an epic comeback going from around 24th up to 2nd in the last 15 laps or so of the race. Couple of restarts saved the day. Carl ran way better than expectations. Of course I have this kind of run when I'm not making any plays anymore. Yeah, I think I'm with you here. This is a must-win for Mexico to stay in a good spot for qualifying, and I don't think the USMNT's inexperienced backline is ready for the Azteca. America's record there all-time is 1-19-1.
Maryland/Alabama moving, just got U129
I just put another 1u on this. Although not my favorite Team, Maryland IS my HOME Team, and has been for over 40 years, so I follow them closely by default. I intensely follow the SEC. -3.5 is a shade away from asking the Tide to beat Maryland straight up on their home court. It's very tough for ANY Team to consistently win on the road ever, and this year it's been even harder. Additionally, this particular MD Team struggles remarkably on the road. On the flipside, 'bama plays exceptionally well at home. They have enough strong athletic bigs to neutralize MD's Len, and the Tide's guard play is just flat-out better than the Terps. I like Mark Turgeon, but he's no Gary. If Gary was coaching these Terps, I'd stay off.I sure wish the spread on Northern Iowa (-11) was single digits...
