FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

Here's some horse plays that were forwarded to me today:

Big day of racing is set for this weekend. So I will give you my opinion on the horses I have selected from Dubai, Louisiana, and Florida: So lets get started:

Dubai: Race #4

The one thing I love about UAE racing, is that all the results provided during the Carnival Season have something called a "Stewards Report". I wish they would doing something like this here in the US. All the stewards, including the patrol judges, submit concise reports on the race. What is important, is that they report troubled trips or mishaps a horse may have had in the race they officiated. It is much better than the DRF comments here in the states:

#2 ELLEVAL: This is one such horse. His last race, the report read: "Horse lacked room 600 meters out, steadied, dropped back, re-engaged, cut off 300 meters out, steadied, and horse lost all interest". Everything I read is that this animal may be ready for a big effort. This race is the most wide open of the day's card, I will take a shot with him, and I think I will get all of the 15-1 morning line.

Dubai Race #5

#16 Mr. BIG: Horse is a win machine "down under". Looking through the PP's, you'll be hard pressed to see a horse with such determination to hit the board. The outside post does concern me, but the turf course is playing even and the outside appears to be ok. Has the speed to establish a good position, and I like a lot. I expect the horse to be an over lay, because SHEA SHEA will be the heavy favorite.

Dubai Race #9

#12 Animal Kingdom: Horse is on his way to England via Dubai. Connections are still debating whether to enter him in the Royal Ascot meet before retiring him. That is how well he's doing. Always gives his best, and has the perfect running style to blow past them late. He does get into trouble at times, which worries me.

Fair Grounds:

Race #7

#6 Blue Violet: Talk about a horse that try's! 3 wide first turn, 4 wide at the 3/8 ths and still ran on for the money. I worry that last race took something out of the horse, Which maybe a bounce candidate. I don't think so, should be a very good price. Will hit the board. Trainer has go too rider on board.

#4 So Many Ways: Barn has his go too rider on board. Horse is firing bullets! To say horse had poor start in last is an understatement. Horse missed the break ( my opinion watching race replay)Will be hard to deny.

#5 Flashy Gray: Another dangerous horse, and jockey wins for this outfit. 40% is ridiculous. Trainer has horse ready, firing bullets.

Race #8

#6 Macho Macho: Gives up 6 pounds. Working a up storm. WINNER.

#7 Mark Valeski: Loves the track. Will set the perfect stalking trip. I expect a big effort.

#1 Flat out: I see only a moderate pace developing that will disadvantage his chances. Must be respected.

Race #9

#8 Code West: Baffert is keeping this horse away from the other California runners. He works at Santa Anita, and then ships him back to Fairgrounds. The Risen Star race was better than appeared. I think the inside was bad that day. If you see race again, he came back even though he was passed about 100 yards out. WINNER!!!!!!!!

#2 & #3: Plecther is loaded!

#4 Gold en Soul: Dallas puts his main man on the horse. Was 5 wide last time out. Unlike previous race, this race appears to have legitimate pace. Should be closing late.

Race #10

#6 You guys know how much respect I have for Tom Amoss. He has been the best Trainer in spotting the correct race for his horses. Get's Lasix for the first time, and trainer is 20% >180 days. Watch out!#

#10 Tiz Sardonc Joe: Trouble in last two. Has talent.

#1 Amira's Prince: Catch Him: Great Spot!

Florida Derby:

#7 Indy Illusion: finished third to ORB, and then came back to win at today's distance. TAGG will never over rate his horses. He spots them very well. If I am not mistaken, aren't these the same connections that brought you 2003 KY

Derby Winner FUNNYCIDE. Go to the window!

Yesterday was pretty subpar. The lines today suck and I have to go to a 2 year-old's birthday party. Like a 2 year-old cares. Can't we just all mail the parents some ####### gift cards at the same time and call it a day?

Like the Buckeyes today, I guess. We're starting to see the traditionals exert their authoriTIE. OSU hasn't even really pieced together a complete game yet but here they are. Let's just assume today's the day they do it and, if they do, they'll blitz the feisty and plucky Shockers. OSU -4.5.

I'll give the 1st half Ov59.5 a shot for 'Cuse and 'Quette.

My sister sent me a text and told me my wonderful but insane mother has begun a habit of complaining at restaurants every time she goes out to eat. It often results is a free meal. We're unsure if this is her goal (she's not exactly poor) or if she's an insufferable MOP. Anyway, she sent her breakfast back at Denny's (yes, Denny's) because it wasn't, and I quote, "innovative enough." :bag:

Sweating this Pens game. Iginla on the ice without practicing with his new team and Crosby out after getting hit square in the lips w the puck. No word on whether or not Crosby will be back, and Pens need to kill this PP to start the first 80 seconds of the 2nd period.

Did you BovadaGuys see the Diamond Domination promotion? I'd probably end up making the required wagers on bases anyway. If anybody else does it and gets all of the bonuses, we should enter the same 20+2 tourney and crack some skulls.

Pens killed the Isles’ league-best road power play with 3-on-5 for two full minutes after a tripping penalty on Orpik on top of a major game misconduct penalty that ejected Kunitz. Vokoun stopped everything in the game, including a sick breakaway in the 3rd period, and Cooke was freaking relentless.

This over hit with about 11 minutes to go in the second half. What a start to the wagering day!

Rangers are an auto play for me, I'll track it on my phone while GOT is on. I also have 230/200 on Under 60 wins for the Astros so of course Houston will win.

Yep refs ruined this game, just like the MSU duke game too.

Every little thing, what an embarrassment. Every single player in foul trouble, any little touch and they call it. Feel bad for Wichita St

Huge day stopped by terrible officiating in the Shockers game, and by a pretty bad beat in Denver today where the Preds dominated.

I mean the over only came in by 6 points, should have never even gotten that close. Oh well, Shockers rule though. :hifive:

I was watching the Bruins game earlier today and that white dude that is on NHL on the fly or on the go or whatever the intermission chatter is said that the Rangers were in big trouble today, not faring well in some situation or another (0-9-1 in the last 10) so I laid the bigness that was -155 and played Montreal. Otherwise i'm about even so far.And by white I mean WHITE. Looks like Caspers albino cousin. Get some sun dude.

Let's get MLB started

This is just my own half baked analysis based on well...nothing but some basic research.

Stros/Rangers UNDER 8.5

It takes hitters a bit to build up a rhythm (moreso than pitchers) and if you look at the scores from opening day last year you had:

4-1

3-2

1-0

7-4 (16 inning game)

1-0

2-1

4-0

5-3

(in 2011, 4 out of the 6 games stayed under 9 runs)

NFLN is showing the game from NE's 18-1 season in Baltimore when they should have lost, but the Ravens called a timeout on 4th & 1.
