FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

I think the ump might factor in SF the way the Red Sox work the plate, and have seen almost 900 more pitches than any other team this year. They rank 2nd in pitches per plate appearance. Six Red Sox regulars are in the Top 50 in the AL in pitches per plate appearance. So it might be a good idea to wait on the ump.

Where we at today for +180 3xNFL? I haven't looked around at all.
I thought the answer is nowhere anymore.
kurts site has them but ties lose so i'd guess that really works out to less than +180
Saw this on my way out, Lump. This will be changing before week 1 of the NFL. Guessing this is about teasers?. Just a heads up.
What part will be changing? Thanks!
A tie will now be a push instead of a loss on teasers. Standard Vegas casino grading. I have been pushing for this the last couple of years. Glad the change has been made.

Awesome!

Yeah it was overdue. I know many books grade a teaser push as a loss and I don't like it. Basically any 6, 6.5. or 7 point teaser of any kind will now go under the new rule.

Example: Your 3 team/7 pt teaser has 2 winners and tie? It become a 2 team teaser and graded with the 2 team teaser odds of -110. I will have a private message sent to all realbettors.com customers on the site with the new teaser rules.

Enjoy the football this year, Beavers.

The haircut girl claimed me and always cuts my hair. She asked me if she stank because she tanned earlier. I smelled her arm. She said she loves tanning because it is twelve minutes of Michelle time. I was like yeah I know what y’all do in there. I tan. I know what the inside of a tanning bed smells like.

San Diego Padres 40/50

Someone hold my hand and tell me the Astros wont finish the season better then 17-21 the rest of the way.

I got a half a grip of the under 58.5.

Good luck. No win is safe for then with that bullpen. Cosart and Oberholtzer have been decent starters but the rest of their rotation is still bad. Their schedule doesn't look very easy either.

Since June Jose Fernandez has the highest WAR in the NL.
8 Ks vs that lineup was impressive
Marlins have won each of his last 8 home starts. He is 6-0 with a 1.40 ERA at home this season and his ERA since June 1 is a league best 1.64. If people didn't know who he was after he shut KC down, they know who he is now. Hopefully.

Alvarez promised a he would hit two home runs tonight. But since the first one was technically scored a single and a fielding error, tomorrow he has to catch a fly ball in his hat.

Hey if anyone in the Mid-Atlantic region (or elsewhere - anyone's welcome if you can be there in person) is up for some FF, we've finalized the draft date for our League as September 1st. Draft is held at a restaurant owned by 2 of my good friends, Grillmarx in Olney, MD. Vittles and bevs, including a decent selection of draft beers included at a reasonable price...

I've mentioned this League before. More info can be found here: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=681392#entry15834615

Currently have 10-12 Teams, would be glad to get up to 16...

Thanks for taking care of us Kurt.

Also wanted to give Kurt a thanks. His boss or someone(not really sure who) tried to reduce some golf futures I had, we sent a few messages back and forth and Kurt vouched for me and they held the wagers with Kurt being responsible if I didn't pay. The wagers disappeared from my pending wagers which is always discomforting but sure enough when it came time to grade them(and they won :excited: ) the funds were added to my account.

Pirates are 2-9 SU in Burnett starts on the road, 0-5 SU last five. I'm excited about backing Ross versus the Pirates, who got lucky last night, scoring one run on a Alvarez solo shot, and two more on a Denorfia fielding error that led to an inside-the-park Alvarez home run. Ross has a 1.09 ERA with 0.89 WHIP and .193 opponent BA in his past 10 home appearances.

Padres had never seen Liriano before. Understandable they didn't see the ball at all last night. Granted they haven't seen Burnett either, but the dude hasn't won a road game since June and he is a far cry from where Liriano is at.

Two unearned runs was the difference in the game last night. Pads get right tonight versus Burnett.

After school last night a man in my class asked me to help him and his family start an Asian grocery store. Nobody will give him the time of day whenever he calls the leasing office because he only speaks broken English.
I'm going to a meeting downtown with this dude in a hour. I better get a good samaritan award for this ####.

Seems like at a minimum he owes you a night with one of his Asian daughters

It's been 7 years today since my then 3 yr old daughter started treatment in Boston for a rare brain tumor. #### you cancer! In celebration I think some elite weekday tailing is in order! Whatchoooo got?

Congrats brother. I can't imagine having a child going through that.

Damn. Happy to hear the good news, GB. Give her a big hug from the FFAWT.

Poo....

The Carroll County Times calls Ravens LB Josh Bynes the "clear leader in the competition" to start opposite Daryl Smith at inside linebacker.
It was widely assumed second-rounder Arthur Brown would earn the job, but he hasn't run with it. "(Bynes has) earned it," coach John Harbaugh said. "He’s practiced really well. He’s physical. He understands our defense inside and out. He’s done a heck of a job." A 2011 undrafted free agent, Bynes started three games last season. Holding off Brown for the entire season would be a tall task.

These are better times, indeed.

Although Nova isn't understanding how elite tailing works.

Really amazing treatment she did at MGH called proton beam radiation, they essentially split the atom so the surrounding healthy cells are unharmed. Look at b today and you'd never guess what she went through (or what she put her good ole parents through). We are about as lucky as they come.

Now how about some runs, ny?

Wow got_nugs... just when you think you might have it rough you hear something like that. Glad to hear things are going well and tell your daughter she has a ton of new fans in the FFAWT .

yeah nugs, way to hang in there for her and glad things are going well for all of you. buy her something nice care of UFC 26! tell her that when her daddy wins, the whole family wins

yeah between this, Bell's injury, and EJ's injury, i'm getting a little grumpy

The rough part was trying to teach a 3 yr old how to say "I want my dad and I to meet Miguel Cabrera" only to have her say that she wanted to be a princess when make-a-wish granted her a wish. Still mad at her about that one.

Glad to hear this all worked out though
