FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

Pirates are 2-9 SU in Burnett starts on the road, 0-5 SU last five. I'm excited about backing Ross versus the Pirates, who got lucky last night, scoring one run on a Alvarez solo shot, and two more on a Denorfia fielding error that led to an inside-the-park Alvarez home run. Ross has a 1.09 ERA with 0.89 WHIP and .193 opponent BA in his past 10 home appearances.

Padres had never seen Liriano before. Understandable they didn't see the ball at all last night. Granted they haven't seen Burnett either, but the dude hasn't won a road game since June and he is a far cry from where Liriano is at.

Two unearned runs was the difference in the game last night. Pads get right tonight versus Burnett.

I would have to think that "YES - 1st inning run" is 25-0 in games Hughes has started this year. My God, he is terrible. NEVER a clean 1st inning.

1H Chelsea -150.

Nice win by AV to open the season against Arsenal, but Chelsea's attacking depth gives them a massive advantage on short rest. With Mata and Lukaku presumably starting, I think this will be an even better XI than the one they opened with against Hull.

A week and a day til CFB. F yeah!! A couple of early leans. Utah -3 vs Utah st. Last yr Utah st won a close game at home that could have gone either way. Utah is probably gonna get the crapped kicked out of them in Pac 10 play again this yr. This is a game they will want payback for.....and...if they have a chance to be bowl eligible, they will need this victory. I like them in this spot. New Mexico -3 at home vs. UTSA. A battle of ex miami fla head coaches. I think theres a little more talent on the one side and they run a power option that just might completely manhandle UTSA.

Its a big number, but i think FSU kicks the crud out of pitt. Laying the 10.

Amen brother. I might take next Friday off.

Every-time I look at the week 1 board I like UL Monroe catching the 23.5 more and more. ULM was a very good team last year and they return almost everyone. Oklahoma only returns 11 and looks to break in a freshman QB if you believe what you read a out Bell being passed over. I don't think Ok hangs more then 40 on them and I think ULM will score more then 2 TD's.

Bedsides that i have an auto play on Georgia and LSU. Anytime you can get a "real" SEC team for less then a TD vs a non SEC team you take it.

.

Also - I follow the main Nevada beat writer on twitter. The Nevada O is in shambles right now. I'm not a big UCLA guy this year, but I think laying the 20 is a good spot.

Meh... sorry guys. I know OROTY was a well liked lean around these parts.

Le'Veon Bell (foot) has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury, and the Steelers are unsure if he will require surgery.

Opponents average 5.1 runs in Jerome Williams' starts this year. Opponents are averaging 6.7 runs in Jerome Williams' starts since July. This total would have hit 8 out of 9 times in his starts since since July. Add in the fact that the Angels bullpen threw 127 pitches last night. No Mike Trout or else would have gone over 8 for the game.

Cleveland o4½ Even

After school last night a man in my class asked me to help him and his family start an Asian grocery store. Nobody will give him the time of day whenever he calls the leasing office because he only speaks broken English.
I'm going to a meeting downtown with this dude in a hour. I better get a good samaritan award for this ####.
Seems like at a minimum he owes you a night with one of his Asian daughters
Yeah but then I would just be horny again an hour later. :kicksrock:

Threw a little more at Gio +1250 in light of this.
Right now I think it's a two horse race between lacy and gio, even if Gio is going to get his QB killed.
I'd say you have to throw Ball in the mix. Possibly Manuel too. It's nothing like last year when you had horses like RG3, Luck, and Richardson. It's amusing because the WR like Austin, Hopkins, and Patterson are the ones with the clear path, they're starters, but we're completely discounting them (i'm adding a little to Austin now that he's +1000, have 0 on Patterson and Hopkins). RG3 really shined early, I don't see that happening this year. I'd be surprised if Gio, Lacy, or Ball go for much over 50 yds the first few games. Seems like this one might go to a RB who takes a hold of the starting spot and shines in the 2h of the season.

Agree on all of this.

I'm still not sold on a WR winning the ROY. I was surprised to see Percy Harvin won it in 2009, but outside of him there have only been the big WRs that get TDs. In the last 20 years, we have had Harvin win it, and the only other one's were Boldin and Moss. Boldin came out of nowhere to win that one, and probably what is more valuable to look at is to see what other rookies were i contention some of those years. Either way, I do agree that it appears to be wide-open at this point, and i am hoping they are preparing EJ Manuel like they prepared Russel Wilson last year, setting him up conservatively to start and then to pull out the stops later in the year. I still think Austin is in trouble having to face some tough CBs in the NFC West, he may have good games i just don't think he can keep it up all season. Patterson is the one of the 3 GR mentioned who i think could sneak in.

It is a shame the odds on the field are as crappy as they are. I could see somebody like Kenbrell Thompkins sneak in and get it if nobody stands out and he gets a good number of TDs

One of the funnier things i've read recently. Thanks for that :moneybag:

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - State police say a New York man had to forfeit a slot machine jackpot at a casino in eastern Pennsylvania because he wasn't legally old enough to gamble. Troopers at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem didn't reveal the size of the jackpot won - briefly - Wednesday. Police say a photo on the identification card provided by Rong Lin, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y. didn't match his appearance when he was trying to collect his winnings. After further investigation, casino officials and police determined Lin was only 20. The state's legal gambling age is 21. Instead, police say they cited Lin for underage gambling.

Why are the Pats giving points vs the Lions?

Have to see what the first half line is, but have to take the Pats first half right? Lions stink, Brady should play throughout the first half at least?

A girl at Foxwoods three years ago "won" the bad beat jackpot for $200k underage. They arrested her.

First-year ump Will Little is working behind the plate in Cincy today. In his games so far this year the home team is 9-1 SU and 9-1 RL.
