FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

damn sportsbetting.ag takes a nice chunk when depositing via CC. Max I could do was $500 and they took $32 6.5% "processing fee" #### them

I know we have some poker players in here so I'll tell the story. Playing PLO8 with $1600 behind and that's more or less average stack. I woke up to 3x4x5x6x in the cutoff - 6 people preflop for $10.

Flop comes down 4 :diamond: 7 :diamond: 8 :club: . SB Bets $50. BB pots to $210. I flat. Fold. Next guy Pots All in for $750. Button Shoves. SB Shoves BB Shoves. All have between $1200-$2500 other then the guy who all in shoved.

Our move. Calling $~1400 or folding is the only option we have.
Without doing any math, i think this is a fold.

I tanked for about 2-3 minutes the whole time I had a sick feeling that it wasn't going to end well for me. Eventually one of the players in the hand said "come on put it in - you'll get there". I said "I'm already there - I got the nuts........ but you know what, Merry Christmas fellas" and open folded the 5-6 nuts face up. I got a couple of "WTF are you DOING?" and got called a ##### more or less by half the table, but esp by the ones in the hand.

After :20 or so of bickering about the fold the remaining players decided to run the rest of the board twice. It was all out there. The $750 shove had nut diamonds, the BB had top set and the button not only had 5-6 but had a 9 on board for counterfeit protection. Small blind was in the best shape as somehow he was the only one with A-2.

And the funny thing was the one thing I kept saying to myself was if even 1 :diamond: hit the board I was DEAD. Run out one went 3 :diamond: 9 :diamond: Run out 2 went 10 :diamond:8 :diamond: .

So the A-2 guy got away with Murder and I saved myself $1400.

EDIT: One of the players not in the hand, who I consider one of the best players I've ever played with, came up to me after the hand and gave me a hand pound and said I made a very good fold and that was a fold that only a good player makes. Coming from him it's a compliment.

Frosty is on fire!! Good start tonight.
Staten with 7 points in the last two minutes. We're in trouble.
Saw that. Oh well. We're good.
Hey aren't you the guy that didn't pay your 2010 Jellycocker of the Year league entry fee? You still owe me $87 you #####.
Take paypal?
No, but I'll take $87 worth of angel hair pasta.

Right now, I'm more interested in the last 20 minutes of "Varsity Blues" than the last 30 of TNF.

Also, go Georgetown.

Crap. Schaub looks like he's going to finish this game with the gusto of someone in a post-argument sexual encounter with their SO.

yeah, i grabbed a bunch of Jax in 2nd half stuff and this d-bag not only screwed a few futures for me, but is looking to once again F me. What a jerk

Nothing I like better than the good ol covering +3.5 drive to the 10, fg, lose by a TD in OT play...and out scoring the teaser under 54.5 in the process.

Hopefully, he'll figure out that encounter involves a LOT of submissive ###-play and he decides to just sleep on the couch instead.

Wow! :o

When you laid down, those were basically the ranges you guessed?

Cincinnatti receivers and rbs are a ####
Did you use your free play tonight?
Yep. Got a prop bet from GR on Kay o22.5 completions.

  • 10 completions in the 1Q :excited:
  • 1 completion in the 2Q :sadabanana:
  • 4 completions in the 3Q
  • Crazy 4Q back and forth where it looks like I needed to pray for OT....got it and he ended regulation at 22 (with about 3 easily dropped balls in the 4q). :excited:
  • Louisville gets the ball first and scores a TD :excited:
  • Cincy first down - trick play :o
  • Cincy 2nd down - RB drops a wide open quick out - literally nobody w/in 5 yards :topcat:
  • Cincy 3rd down - bad pass
  • Cincy 4th down & long - probably shoulda been caught, but oh well
All in all, free bet and it was the right call - just didnt go my way. At least it made me sweat  And props to GR for looking out for me

Well..... yeah.

If I call it's a 5 way all in pot for $~8K. At some point IMHO you can just sit back and not have to guess who has what. There aren't enough A-2's in the deck for there not to be 1 Set, 1 Flush and or one other st8 out there.

Is KC -3 -110 @ Washington not an all-in play? I don't know what I'm missing here, but I'd set this line somewhere around -6.5 juiced to -7 EV.

Chiefs have allowed over 400 average yards L4, 34 points average L3, 2 total sacks L3.. if you like the Chiefs in this game bet the under and not the side. Better yet bet the dog and the under. :highfiveslap:

:hifive:

Knew there had to be something to this. I was double checking myself, and saw like 80+ percent on KC somewhere. Figured I'd check in here, something was amiss.

Some sucky lines in the UFC tomorrow night. here are some for the early fights:

Garcia -575 :scared: (hate this line, but Garcia is a beast, wall is a TUF reject) - 1 unit

Scoggins -260 1u

Mizugaki -260

Ring -220

fingers are crossed for a 4-0 to start with these guys. Haying laying all juice, but there are some mismatches on this undercard, probably because of the amt. of cards the UFC has had to put on and the injuries that have been hitting a little lately. It won't be this crappy for the main card

Chain, are you using StatFox for statistics? I just noticed this on my site, seems like a pretty thorough stat aggregator.

pretty much just pissed off listening to rap god and making 78.5's in behavioral management but not before he specifically invites me into his office to discuss how different grading systems could have given me a 75 instead

MJ you are probably not wrong. The real reason I said #### was because of the books trying to trick us. And we have until Sunday to decide.
