It's usually the only game in town on that particular night and people love taking the over, so why not just set the total out of reach to begin with and let the money flow in. That was my train of thought.

Worst way to get burnt on bowl games IMO is playing all the overs. That said, count me in on the WAZZU/Colorado State OVER once I get a good weather report for Saturday. That's the thing too, I'll play an under at open but I won't play all the overs I like until I see the weather (unless they are playing in controlled conditions like a dome or SoCal).

I have OSU/Clemson at 66 by the numbers, but Ohio State can't stop anyone and no way is Clemson going to stop that rushing attack (especially in the second half). I'll play that one later.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. The forced fumbles are nice. Alonso has just been so solid and consistent. The 4 early season int's are pretty significant. More significant are the tackles. I could be wrong, but historically this seems like an award that is won by either the tackle leader or sack leader. The kinda frustrating part is that Alonso is being helped by scorekeepers to a large degree, imo. Tree has 15 assisted tackles, Alonso has 59! 78 solos, 59 assists, wow. Ogletree actually has the lead in solos 86-78. Still a couple weeks left, we'd need monster games, ala Alonso's 22 tackle game. A TD wouldn't hurt. Alsonso would need to completely flame out or get hurt early this week. I would vote for Alonso at this time if I had a vote, but let's keep our fingers crossed. Great bet at +1800 regardless of outcome.
