FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

So when they do they decide the Rookie of the year? they do all the awards at the same time, right? it is also only for regular season contributions, right? i really think it is between Allen and Lacy, and i expect the votes to be split and a close one to see who they give it to. With both teams making the playoffs, i am not sure if that will factor or not

Bit of a longshot, but SB has GB 22-1 to win the NFC. GB should win today, and Rodgers rumored to be back soon. I think its worth a shot to see if GB with a healthy Rodgers can get into the playoffs.
Love this angle, might play this.

Grabbed them a few weeks ago at +550. Hope you grabbed the 22-1 one
:hifive: 22-1 from a month ago. Also have Panthers 28-1 to win NFC from preseason. Hopefully one of the two make it there.

NFL regular season overtime rule: If Team A kicks a FG, Team B is allowed to answer with a drive of their own.

Hypothetical:

Team A receives the kickoff, has an improbably long drive where they use 14:59 of the clock, call a timeout, and kick a FG as the first OT expires.

You can't go to a 2nd OT, but is Team B then allowed to possess the ball for an untimed period until they score or fail on 4th down?

Ugh, these refs suck. Long night for the Birds if they are allowed to keep up with these shenanigans. :kicksrock:

and no homer call here, just calling it as an unbiased observer

think LeVeon may end up 2nd now. Allen really hasnt done much the past few weeks. Think Lacy has it in the bag.

I'll phone a friend. I think the rule is written as such that team B is not guaranteed time, just a possession. If I had to guess team A would kick off in an untimed down and then team B would get the ball first and ten with 0:00 left on the clock and would have to score that play (or defensive penalty) or the game is over.

NFC EAST PRIME TIME GAME RULES?
i always forget what this rule is, but i did hop on ov48.5 a bit ago on live betting.

And F these refs man, they are just being silly at this point
:jawdrop:

I had already packed it in for the season I didn't even consider the primetime NFC East rule. Shame on me. By the looks of it I would have bought out by now.
In at 47 and 50.5. Please win by 2 or more Eagles, thanks.

hmm, i really want to get more money on the Eagles, or at least some action on this game, but i am really not sure what to play here for 2nd half plays. what does everybody have?

I like the Eagles -3 2nd half but it is juiced at my book. -125
i'm thinking this too. my guess is Chip makes some nice adjustments for the 2nd half and Philly's offense continues to roll. now they just need to cover the passes to the TEs and RBs...

In some ways I think the score at half is a bit inflated due to the turnovers. But Chip could come out blazing in the 2nd half too and put this game well over. At the same time I can see "playing not to lose" and that should bring in the under. Not too confident in the boys offense with Orton. Looks like a lot of dump offs.

If the Eagles keep playing not to lose, they won't be losing next week whilst watching from the comfort of their living rooms.

I hate to keep harping on it, but the fact that the Cowboys haven't been called for any penalties tonight and the Eagles have had their fair share throughout has the team combating a few things. Foles needs to get his head out of his ### though, he is making me worried and kicking myself for not taking the Cowboys ML at +500 in the first half to off-set my Cowboys under 8.5 wins and Eagles to win the NFC East bets.

well, so far it looks like the under was the play in the 2nd half. Unforunatel, i did not make my 2nd half plays based on that

Have fun! Keep my seat warm, i'll be out there for the game after the Rose Bowl.

Made a fairly large wager on Philly -2.5 and was feeling pretty good all week. Pretty good.
yeah, i somehow took a blood bath on that game. Messed up thinking the teams would be scoring more then they did, and should have known better from the fist Eagles-Cowboys game. Ref called it right earlier, glad the regular season of the NFL is over

Couple of autoplays tomorrow

Navy/MTSU OVER 54.5 1.5u

Georgia Tech +3 1.5u

Also playing Techa Tech +14.5

Adding some other sides too, joining TF on Miss State and adding 1.5u a piece on OU +15 and UNLV +6.5 as both of those are borderline system plays and good enough for me.

So, i'm not sure how to read these games for next week.

I do think the Saints-Eagles game will be a fun one to watch. I know RN was in the Eagles-Cowpokes game thread and was thinking the line would be something like Eagles -6. not sure what i think of that, the team did not look good tonight, but the Cowboys played them real tough last week too. My guess is the closest line will be KC @ Indy. Indy beat them up already, but my guess is Andy have the team ready this time and i am thinking the Chiefs can pull this one out

I also know Cincy has been inconsistent as hell, and San Diego going to OT with KC's B-team today will have that line possibly over a TD. Not sure what to think of this one. And GB looked good fighting back today, but SF is a big favorite, so my guess is GB -3 maybe?

I said PHI -3. I thought the Saints would be -6 over Dallas.

 I don't venture into those threads often, they move fast. Philly -3 seems about right

and it looks like they call the rookie of the year award either the weekend before the Super Bowl, or the Super Bowl weekend. so we have a few weeks to continue wondering who they will give that too

x-post from the Cowboys-Eagles thread:

Birds -2.5 per Pinnacle Sports.

For better or worse, I'd take that all day. Means we're PK on a neutral field, books begging you to tease the Saints with something else to +8.5. Brees is a completely different QB outside of the Superdome.

I'd take this straight up, I think the Birds can win this game.

I'm 6 for my last 7 in Ref's pool (with the spread)... let's see if I can stay hot.

MTSU +6.5

Ole Miss -3.5

Texas +14.5 (Do it for MACK!)

ASU -14 (half-point buy)

Not sure what to think of that Texas/Oregon game. I'd like to think Oregon won't care but then they land on the turf and run the Longhorns in circles.
