FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

I downloaded bovada poker for some ####s and giggles...... I'm sitting at a 5-10 Stud H/L and someone is sitting with $110K.

Since 2004, freezing or colder games at kickoff with a total of 46 or under have gone over 60%+ of the time.

Granite, tomorrow is going to be unprecedented, and I suppose at some point the weather becomes so cold that everyone just dies or gives up.
Yes, this isn't your run-of-the-mill "freezing" game.

those trends don't apply to -50 wind chills, imo

According to Packers.com, Green Bay is 3-4 in games played at Lambeau Field when the temperature at kickoff is 6 degrees or lower.

That Philly/Detroit game wasn't your typical snow-game either.

I don't think I'm playing it either way, I'm just saying I don't think it's an easy winner. Smart linesmakers aren't going to just let the public pound a number that they're not comfortable with, it's come down quite a bit.

I'm rooting for the Eagles because I hate the smug look Sean Payton has plastered on his face all the time, and I despise the black pantyhose they wear when these pants are available to them.

When I was like ten I wanted a Seahawks helmet for Christmas, you know, one of those youth ones you can wear in the yard. So my Mom gave me the catalog and there was no Seahawks helmet (they had never made the playoffs at this point). They had Raiders, Cowboys, Steelers, Redskins, Bears, Packers, Rams, Eagles and maybe one or two others.

I went Eagles. I used it for a few years, I kept stat books of all the games and would replay them in the yard. When I was replaying individual games, I would just put the stickers of the two teams in the game on the helmet. I was always good at playing with myself...

It feels like Sean Peyton ain't got #### he can do now except watch it play out. Props to both coaches, they have been stoic.

F it, i'm live betting. Eagles ML -135

ETA: And i immediately regret it :kicksrock:

ETA2: only fitting one of my last live bets for at least a few months (except SB maybe) will be a loss. a win would have made me think i should keep live betting

Sorry Marty and mo. :( It was a great first year under Chip.
 the loss sucked, and continued the smacking of my account, but this loss doesn't sting as bad as others we have had over the years. the team went farther then i thought they would. Has to feel better being an Eagles fan then a Chiefs fan right now

Seconded, thanks RN! Totally exceeded expectations this season, but still a tough one to take. Having beating Brees within reach and coming up short stinks, but the Saints played well tonight.

I will say, I'm excited about what the future holds as Kelly/Foles and the rest of the team matures, and we hopefully plug some gaps in the draft.

at least all those Eagles fans who hated Reid don't have to watch him go farther in the playoffs. Eagles are in good shape for the future.

Seahawks were favored by 6.5 vs the Saints a month ago and won by 27 points. I agree it will probably open above 7 and maybe 10 or more.

Is Harvin going to be ready? I think I like Seattle by 10 too.

The only thing I would keep in mind about that 27 is that NO still had to play CAR the following week (a loss would have put CAR in the South lead and HFA advantage). It seemed to me wen they quit when down big at half. Definitely not ignoring how smash mouth and dominant is at home, but I don't think it would have been as bad as 27 had they some scrub the following week

I've said it a few times elsewhere but I honestly think the only NFC team that can win in Seattle is the 49ers. Both fan bases are too focused on the recent past but the bottom line is the 49ers have the team to win in Seattle, I don't think the others do. Now that the Saints won I'll be rooting for the Packers tomorrow, I wasn't sure I wanted to play Aaron Rodgers next week but I'm fine if they are coming in for the NFCCG.

That's the expectation.
Hasn't that been every week for the past 10 weeks?

I'll believe it when I actually see it.
No, I actually heard two days ago that the Hawks were surprised at how much progress he made, and he will play "barring a setback."
