FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

Stolen...

The San Diego Chargers are now three wins away from keeping one of the NFL’s most unusual streaks alive. If the Chargers complete their improbable playoff run by winning the Super Bowl, they would be the fourth consecutive team to capture the Vince Lombardi Trophy after visiting Philadelphia for the Eagles’ home-opener.

Bizarre but true.

Baltimore lost to Philadelphia in Week 2 last season 24-23. The Giants and Packers both downed the Eagles in their home-opener during the 2011 and ’10 seasons, respectively.

Meanwhile, San Diego picked up its first win of the 2013 season in Chip Kelly’s home debut — a 33-30 victory that obviously maintained its importance late into the season, as the Chargers needed every last W to sneak into the playoffs as a wild-card team.
They needed a little extra mojo to make that happen, what with Ryan Succop missing a field goal in Week 17 and the Dolphins and Ravens both collapsing. Perhaps they had that boost banked from their early journey to the City of Brotherly Love.

Looking at the lines for next week, the one thing which jumps out is Colts/Pats o53.

Both defenses will have their hands full, to put it mildly.

Besides the BS charges stuff +10 seems like a good number for the Chargers

They pretty much are the hottest team in the NFL right? We have seen this before with wild card teams sneaking in and making runs via Giants and GB (not sure if they were WC). Get hot at right time.. They have been running the ball very well and have their drives have been back breakers, being that they are long drives with a lot of 3rd down conversions. Lost by 8 to Den in wk 10, then beat them at home a few weeks ago. And not only beat them but from what I remember they kind of embarrassed them, I thought Denver defense could not get off the field.

Huh?

Edit: swirven seems to love the Chargers but RN said he liked the over in NE. So confused.

Somehow the blocked 25 yard FG just feels right.... much more so then a missed one.

About a 90% chance that goes over if it makes it into OT there. Ball St probably pulls it out too.

Bowl plays and final tally:

Overall record: 26-22 +5.5u

Sides and ML: 17-14

Totals: 10-9

Multi-unit plays: 8-6

System: 6-4 (5-4 on ones I bet on)

I lost money last year so I guess this is ok. Finished losing my last five plays though, this could have been a lot better but tOhio, Okie State and Ball State all #### the bed. +10u was the goal, maybe next year.

Life After Lockup on MSNBC now.

After seeing the post-imprisonment story of a gentleman who had the whites of his eyeballs tattooed red with his then cell mate, IN.

They profiled one guy who was a decent looking older dude, seemed like he had a good heart and he did his time, and when they caught up with him in a later episode, he was in a fire and his face was horribly disfigured. It was awful.

So you're saying you would have hit it before the fire? That's pretty vain of you.

:(

That's such a shame. Some of them I am rooting for to turn it around when they get out.

Auburn ML +300 for 1u
doesn't seem chalky enough
lol. just think it's good value. Boston College had the most success against FSU all year and they did it running the ball. FSU obviously has a great defense, but don't necessarily think they've seen an offense like this.

I do think FSU will be able to score at will though, so it'll be a shootout (I had the over from earlier this year)

So chalk parlay so far:

PItt -450

FSU -380

Montreal -175

Colorado -210

Clippers -550

That's actually +320 but I think we should remove at least one of those hockey games, and maybe sub in one of the below.

Possibles:

Elon -1300

Timberwolves -300 (this is a road game though which I don't like)

UNC Greensboro -320 (Frosty thoughts????)
