I go there with work and I like to appropriate my funds to alcohol and gambling, not food. I get one or two fancy meals while I'm there, obviously Vegas has some ridiculous food establishments. Peppermill just has a great atmosphere IMO, not dooshbagish like Vegas can be.

At this point in my life I go with my wife. The past few trips we go for 4-5 nights and spend the weekend at the Paris and the weekdays at one of the "5 star properties". Although it may sound like a pain to move, it's actually a bit exciting. We usually plan on going to two shows and get tickets through the "Patty Contact" in the Vegas thread. We then try and find one other show last minute one of the other nights. We also take "the duce" downtown and gambol gambol at Binions ($3 Craps and $5 Black Jack) one of the nights. For dinner we usually make reservations at Mon Ami Gabi for one night and then end up going once for dinner, once for lunch and once for brunch. The funny thing about a vegas trip is you spend 3-4 months planning out the whole time there and then the second we get there we more or less do whatever the F we want.

Still haven't made it to the Peppermill or Lotus..... although EVERY time we go we say we are going to check them out and never do.

I spend at least half my free time at the LVH Sportsbook, it's a business trip for me in more ways than just work. I go out and raise hell one or two nights (I get Marque at the Cosmo passes), but mostly I'm there working and unwinding. Play Blackjack, sportsbook, at the Peppermill drinking some martinis. I keep it simple.

 
Seriously guys. Lets keep this thing under wraps until we collectively figure out how to wager a side on NFL week bum ba bum bum in the playoffs.

 
Philly guys - long shot question> Any of you know anyone who plays lead guitar? My band is down a lead guitarist again and I'm striking out on Craigslist. We practice weekly in south jersey and have spring gigs lined up but our guitarist wouldn't accept gigs unless we were getting paid thousands of dollars anymore, so we tossed him.

Rock Cover songs only, typical set list is: "Sister Christian" "Welcome To Paradise" "Ah Leah" "Rocky Mountain Way" "Do It Again" "Hold On Loosely" "Possum Kingdom" "Lights"

We've got a few Philly guys here around my age, everyone know someone who plays guitar, help me out.

What is the worst CBB game you have watched from start to finish? Be honest. I know you are sick like me watching some MAAC matchup on Friday night.

Loyola-Marymount vs. Santa Clara. Neither team was good at all, and I somehow found the Loyola-Marymount internet feed for the game, which was a stationary camera with no sound and no announcing of any kind. There were about 25 people in the stands. I watched almost the whole thing.

 
Calgary came into last night with just 1 win in their last 9 games and that came in a shootout. They also had scored just 1 goal in their previous 4 games COMBINED!

yet somehow they scored 3 goals on their first 11 shots and scored their 4th on a gift power play.

bad beat.

I got a buddy of mine who used to be in a band. Stoner type dude. He is married now and not the most reliable guy, but I can check with him. I also can tear it up on that rock band game if that will work. Actually was looking to pick up trying to play so if you guys are cool with some overweight old guy acting like he is playing I could give it a go too.Eta: I actually know a few guys. Give me some time to track them down but now that I think about it there might be a handful that could do a good job for you guys

I think mine was Fairfield Manhattan on ESPNU last year. Had a play on u118 (i think Chain actually did too in here) and it ended 44-43 I think. Worst basketball I have ever seen in my life.

I've watched several of those games with one camera too :bag:

Syracuse can definitely slow down the pace of a game in a heart beat, but being there live makes up for some of it.

 
I used to stay up in my 4 room apartment till 4 AM listening to Hawaii radio listening to Hawaii football games. Most of the time I was on the over and it worked out well..... GB Timmy Chang.

Back and forth on MSU and ISU. On paper like them a lot (Ohio St and Baylor don't impress me) but tough division opponents so I will pass on both.

Back and forth on MSU and ISU. On paper like them a lot (Ohio St and Baylor don't impress me) but tough division opponents so I will pass on both.

although the student section will be back there could be a ton of empty seats there cause of weather. Can't see too many Detroiters making the trip with the roads and ice. Not sure what is any impact but may not be as rocking as normal at the Breslin center

 
I need to get better at these college basketball props. I had four initial leans in the Tenn/LSU game, and they went 3-1. The one I played and posted here was the one that lost.

Payne is new and they were going to react based on how he warmed up. Trice however was also just listed as out. Should test the depth here.
