FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (14 Viewers)

I had a crazy day today.

First, I got an email from BV saying they had adjusted my limits. Without even checking, I sent them back an email asking if I could appeal the decision and asking what my new limits were.

Their response said something like we can't tell you what the limits are as they change depending on the sport or type of bet, etc. and they said the decision was final (although they left some wiggle room).

Next I logged into my account to see what the limits were and I saw 4 save prop lines posted that I loved. I didn't max them out but I made larger bets on them than I normally have been (something like 1.5 or 2u on each so nothing crazy).

Then I went back later and was starting to make some more smaller plays and I started to assume they just weren't going to change my limits for some reason. In the middle of that happening, I got a message that my account had been disabled. But I was still in the process of making some bets and nothing changed so I wasn't sure if submitting them would be a good idea or bad idea. But, I figured I might as well submit them so I did.

Soon after, my account was locked and disabled. I started doing some google searches and found some horror stories of people complaining about their accounts being shut down, their winnings being kept, and their initial deposit being refunded. So, I started to get a little worried that all the money in my account might be gone at this point.

I sent them an email to ask what I needed to do to re-open it and they responded with nothing more than saying "your account has been re-enabled".

Went back in and everything looked normal. All my earlier bets were still there and active. All my prop limits had been reduced to $25 and my limits on sides and totals appears to be $100.

Anyway, I won my first 3 big bets of the day so I'm up pretty big on the day. 4th one looks like a loser (Bet the under for saves by Quick and the Leafs fired 15 shots on net in the 1st).

Now I'm just hoping they don't come in and somehow retroactively void the bets and that I can get my money out without too much trouble.

I requested a large payout from them today soon after getting cut. It was granted minutes later. Someone else we know had the same experience. They'll cut you off, but they aren't thieves like Tony.

This happened the exact same way for me. I wouldn't worry. Too much regulation and reputation risk for them not to pay you out whats owed to you.

5 dimes... different story.

4-1 on the day with Nevada left. Also, FWIW, to follow up on my post yesterday, did a little more research....all of the college plays I'll be posting will be from PM who historically has hit 62% in conference and ncaa tourny over the past 3 years.

Going to Atlantic City tomorrow for my fantasy baseball draft. Always prep with some computer Blackjack but I still never know when to double when there is an ace involved. :kicksrock:

@MurrayRGJ: Boise has hit 5-of-9 3-pointers and has taken a 17-10 lead at the 12:33 mark. This was the big fear for Nevada. Boise getting hot from 3.

I assume you mean when YOU have a soft hand, and not when the dealer's face card is an ace?
I know that if the dealer is showing 5 or 6, you always double on A/whatever. Besides that I just roll with it I guess.

I'll stand on A/8 or A/9. That's no different than splitting 10s. Ace + anything other than 10 or another ace, double your little heart out.

You guys good with +6 or are we gonna shoot for a middle? Nevada doesn't inspire tons of confidence.

ETA: Not much of a middle opp. Boise -3.5

In Atlantic city last year I kept splitting 10s when the dealer showed 6 when any jackass sat down at our table. Ran em off every time.

Heh, I'll do that if the stakes are really low. Can't mess with that stuff at a $50 table. Of course, there would typically be no mid-shoe entry there as well.

I gotta think Vick is Decker approved. Would really suck for Geno if they bring in Vick, their camp would be a circus. But, this team brought in Tebow, would not shock me. Vick could compete/win job, I'd think.

Nice little 5 point swing on a highlight reel layup attempt and miss into a Boise 3.

THAT drives me nuts when they try to hot dog it and it blows up.

####### southwest cancelled their red eye from vegas to new orleans on sunday nights. Now we're gonna have to spend another night there. Dangerous

Basketball is completely broke. Was my favorite growing up, now it's almost painful to watch.

That UCF/Temple game last night...no one deserved to win. They should have just eliminated both teams after the first OT.
