Could you imagine if Vegas oddsmakers got to set the brackets for the tournament? That would be most deceivingly easy looking bracket ever concocted. Sounds like they're bitter the futures have to be priced away from the seedings for tourney betting squares.

Phil Martelli was on Missanelli's show today. I missed a good portion of it, but caught the tail of them talking about the seeding. They both talked about how it is complete b.s., and they set up the seeding constantly so that you have more interesting macth-ups and story lines. I wish i heard more of what they were saying so i could have some concrete examples, but i know they had a few they talked about that made no sense except for the fact that the 2nd round match-up or something would be a headline grabber

It's a nice little kiss to any play to make a little sweet 2 team parlay but the ML odds are really getting gross. When applicable I will be ML fading both the 6ers and Bucks. Of course this isn't grantland type information...it's clear these teams want to lose.

GooRoo, what do you think about Westbrook under 35.5 P/R/A tonight?

Season averages are 21.5 pt, 7.1 asst, and 5.7 reb (34.3 total) but they are playing Chicago. Team total is 98 (vs 106 average on the year) and he is battling a knee injury (out yesterday).

I haven't had a chance to look into it yet but I know Westbrook scores and rebounds better on the road for some reason. Not a small sample size either, it's like that every year. I'll look at the other variables and post it if I play it. Good luck!

Last night I somehow decided it a good idea to wager a considerable amount on Chelsea after reading up on them. It's always during these Anthony Bourdain/Naked and Afraid wee hours of the morning that I place large wagers on favorites. So far, so good ... knock on johnson but I do know that i'm playing with fire.

He prefers the fully nude establishments where they apparently let him "slap them in the #######." Imagine Mutombo saying, "Slap the stripper in the pooseys." He was really, really into that. Before we parted ways I congratulated him on being happily married and he congratulated me for being a white boy in business school.

I haven't messed with it that much or placed a bet, but gave it a quick look since it's there. It is a good feeling when you can get the number you wanted before the game. And college ball is different than the NBA with the frequency of commercial breaks.
